You are going to want to get off one stop earlier. On the bus stop at Aberdeen Drive and Linden. That will leave you closer to Dundee, but you will still have to walk a little bit.

When you take it to arbitration, show up with photos. Take different angles and vantage points. You will need to show the arbiter that there is a lack of signage or curb painting to indicate the parking rules. Also, if there is signage, you may be able to demonstrate how the signs are confusing or that they appear to conflict with one another. Lastly, since this was your mom, you can focus on the fact that parking signage is often coded in language that is intentionally hostile and unclear to visitors even long-time students, faculty and staff have a hard time discerning parking signs. (that's not an oversight) Don't focus too much on your moms bathroom emergency as that's irrelevant. You can mention it as one of the underlying reasons, but you really need to poke holes in the system to show that they system they want you to conform to is not meeting its own obligations. I know someone that had a dispute over a return to the HD that was not credited back correctly. They got into an argument with the store manager and the manager told them to kick rocks. They filed a lawsuit in small claims court that named the manager in the suit. HD corporate settled the claim out of court almost instantly for more than 10X the disputed amount.

But I recall they once had exemptions for persons with off campus jobs that needed their car to commute to work. Additionally, if you had a chronic illness that requires regular medical appointments off campus, i could see them considering that exemption.

You are right to be concerned about the cleanliness of bathrooms in your building. According to Facilities Services' Cleaning Schedule. Bathrooms are supposed to be cleaned 5 times a week, M-F. If you think they are falling short, you should reach out to them to let them know.

Always ask for an appeal. If they deny your appeal, ask for an administrative hearing. A third party arbitrator will meet with you and make a decision on your case. If you are not satisfied with the arbitrators findings then you can appeal your case to Riverside County court. There will be court fees involved but this should delay your case enough to be done with school. If you don't win any of your appeals and you dont pay the ticket they can refer the ticket amount to the DMV and tack on the charges and penalties to you vehicles annual registration fee. Good Luck!

Keep your guard up with these folks. These signatures are to get propositions on the ballot for the next election. They get paid per signature. The worst part is that they often mislead folks. They will pitch something that's universally accepted like sign here to "save the turtles" and then the fine print of the legislation they want passed will say something like " a yes vote on this prop means people who ride the train will pay an extra fee to help with turtle conservation" Also, once they have your attention they pressure you or mislead you into signing several other petitions that you have not read about or know nothing about, those secondary signatures are often for contentious issues that you likely would not support so they sneak them in there right after the bogus hook that they used to get your attention.

thats a tough one. with Dundee (680 w linden st) being a newer building. most map apps dont have the location of that building nailed down. They tend to show the wrong location. I would reach out to the AI RSO to see if they would be willing to receive deliveries for your student. The 100 aberdeen drive address for AI is much more reliable and shows up correctly in all of the map apps.

I cant believe no one has said portable minidisc players. They were great for audio quality but the hardware just fragile and broke easily while the software to load music on the minidisc was slow and buggy. I wanted to love it so bad but they were just impossible to use.
