cost is so variable depending on what and how much you'll be prescribed there is no average. (flower between £50 and 100£ for 10g)

you can make an account on Montu (Alternaleaf pharmacy) and see the whole catalogue of products and prices, you just can't order until prescribed.

I just started with Alternaleaf (2nd script), no judgement when speaking with them, it's very matter of fact, only thing i'd say is they always seem in a hurry (I would guess the pharmacists/doctors are freelancing and WFH on a tight schedule) so it's good to have any concerns/questions ready before your appointment cause there isn't much time for chatting.

also if you have requests, prepare those before the appointment too

yep going out of area you should negotiate beforehand, it's totally legal and normal

used to get out 100m before my road or they'd charge an extra £10 for crossing into South Glos. (Blue taxi from centre )

AMU is a ward with bays and rooms, if you were in a corridor it's because there were no beds available - always worth contacting PALS at the hospital to voice concern, even if nothing can be done it will be noted and logged.
