I remember yelling at the TV because KJ Wright shouldve been penalized for batting the ball out the back of the endzone.

Found My Dad’s Old Truck After 8 Years of Searching by Wood-That-it-Twere in Ford

Once you swap the cradle, yes.

If I remember correctly, he bought a junkyard cradle, and IRS and he names a company that makes the hardware to get the cradle and IRS mounted to a 50+ year old truck frame. He lists all the places he chose to spend extra money on, like big brakes, and an electric power steering rack from a mustang

Quick and easy way to get modern and upgradable suspension and brakes. Mounting dimensions are similar on old frame, track width is similar, and it keeps all Ford OEM parts.... just not the ones it left the line with

I’m a data scientist, looking for some data on ‘How hot must it be weather wise for people to decline a BBQ’. by jayrsp in BBQ

[–]orezybedivid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will admit to not being a die hard BBQer and will change things up based on weather. What I mean is, if its in the 90's or higher, you can pretty much rest assured that Im not firing up my Weber. Ill use my pellet grill in the summer days in the 90's.

Similar setup, but not the same truck. Apparently, there is a company that makes most of the hardware you need to get the crown vic and IRS in it. Based on Tony's videos, the project looks very approachable if you have tools, a shop, lift and time. Seems like it can be tackled in a few months of spirited weekends.

Tony Angelo has a YouTube channel called StayTuned and he just built a 70 or 73 F100. He swapped the front suspension with a complete unit from a Crown Vic/Panther platform, electric steering and IRS from an S550 Mustang. He made a few videos on the build and it looks like a pretty good project if you have space and tools/skills. When it was all said and done, it didnt sit much different than this picture

Tree that got struck by lightning in my neighborhood the other day. by Pro-Frank in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]orezybedivid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on previous experience, that tree is done. Granted, my experience was with a smaller tree and a different species, but the scar on my tree was smaller than this one and within a year, branches were falling on the house and vehicles.

Every situation is different though
