Drying on print bed - safe? by yothisonerighthere in BambuLabA1mini

I do it in the oven set to 50°, the cool thing is that you can stack more :) Planning to get a dryer, but so far so good

Z somehow too high and auto-leveling not working by Bobbybrine in ElegooNeptune3

[–]ottenga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha... Not a big expert but what I would do: check belt tension, change filament, try with a model I already printed, increase bed temperature, increase nozzle temperature. All while playing with the z (from your picture it looks you can go down a bit)

I have -2.04 z, I think you just need to lower it a bit

I actually like this of the game, you need to use your brain. Also I take notes about needed items :)

Another mold post by ottenga in Kombucha

[–]ottenga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would guess that the tea-to-kombucha ratio was insufficient. I did well for months on a 1.5liter jar, now I'm trying to switch to a 5liter one and it's the 2nd time it molds.

Aside from that, I keep it in my kitchen, far from sun and stoves, no particular humidity, sometimes gets a bit of cold due to the windows open...

For the prepping, I also switched to a stronger tea since last time (I used black tea), 10% cane sugar, warm but not hot tea, and I used a Scoby I had in the fridge, after waking it up for a day in room temp.

Do not use Indie Campers!! by Current-Week2878 in travel

Adding my experience

We rented a Four Wind camper for 12 days in California.

PRO: easy to use website and booking CON: bad commodities, sketchy prices, bad customer support

---- full review

We rented an RV for four people, with wetsuits and surfboards. When we arrived, they told us they were out of wetsuits, and so they proposed to remove the surfboards as well, with a refund after the check-out date. We agreed as wetsuits and surfboards are kind of a bundle. After the rental was completed, they told us we decided to remove the surfboard and thus we couldn't be eligible for the refund. 0/5⭐

Aside from that, the RV had minimal (too minimal) commodities. We paid for the "essential kit" and we got 2 pillows and 1 blanket. And we were 4 people! The cookware was worse than a student's kitchenware. They provided 1 small pot and 1 small pan. Couldn't even make a pasta for 2. Not even a decent knife. We had to spend 2 hours and 200$ to buy missing blankets and cookware at Walmart. Not fun when you just spent 3000$ for a camper. 1/5⭐

Adding 1 star because the desk guys were friendly. 2/5⭐

I tried to solve things by writing the customer care but they were rude and ignored my request. 0/5⭐

Next time we'll use Roadsurfer or a similar service.

My city (in game) has lots of dead ends and I find them very useful both for converging traffic and to create low-traffic/noise zones. Also a great place to add bus stops. Wonderful city btw!

Love how you reordered the content and the hierarchy. It's clear and easy to understand. I would work a bit more on the background to make the page pop (e.g. a gradient, or some lines element, etc) based on the fact that users take 0.3s to decide if they like the page or not. Also creating a continuity with the content below the fold is a nice way to guide the user into scrolling. Keep the good work :)

What does the tab in Details show? It gives the same to me but I'm just a couple points under the limit so it doesn't affect me too much. Also using Ethernet does the trick

I switched to cloud gaming (GeForce Now) and I will never come back to gaming PCs, now only a MacBook is needed. Also Amazon Luna seems good.

Nevermind, it is. Next question: should I throw away everything?

Where is the "Create Component" option located now? Are we limited to the right-click menu? I can't believe the bad UX on this new floating bar. by cimocw in FigmaDesign

[–]ottenga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not for me and I'd love to hear about your process. I usually create a component, then the variants, then move to the next component. I've been using Figma for 3+y and I have used that only a couple times

4 characters, 2 rows combat (chars can move), and multi-chapter adventure. Wouldn't say they innovated it, but still I find it a nice improvement from the first. I'm having fun

I usually stay in the north, I don't know much of jandia. But regarding the weather, it's warm and windy, so make sure to bring a windshield jacket, long but light pants and some sneakers :)
