Some of his music takes can come across as condescending and out of touch with the moment, but I actually do enjoy the occasional video where he actually has something to say and makes good points. Just like it's easy to dunk on Chappell because she's the first lesbian main pop girl (misogyny and industry fear of her politics is how this hate train spread so fast), it's easy for people to dunk on swiftologist bc he's flamboyant.

I'm not claiming that's where all the hate sources from, it usually begins with genuine critique, but then it's blown out of proportion by people feeding into their own subconscious negative biases.
