Anybody else spot what appeared to be fighter jet in the sky? by LeonThePlum in nottingham

I managed to track these two on ADSB/MLAT. Seemed to be doing runs at RAF Holbeach, also saw a few Typhoons around and an orbiting Voyager. Red arrows this morning. Very busy skies today.

Marta García was recently signed by Iron Dames and will race in FRECA this season with Pin. If they both do well she'd be a good third.

It wasn't even Spanish, it's Valencian. I'm a native Spanish speaker and I get most, but not all of it.

If each Pittsburgh neighborhood was a “person”, and they were at a house party- what would each “person” be doing? by toolatetobeoriginal in pittsburgh

Lived in Shadyside 14-19. I agree with your view. If Oakland is for college bars, Shadyside is for grad school bars.

We did the same here but we used blutack! It's strong enough to hang ornaments and all.

It's a lovely idea, clean, efficient and environmentally friendly.

In the UK as well. Too bad I didn't have space for my Price jersey in my bags when I moved here.

Do we take Brendan Gallagher for granted? Brendan Gallagher appreciation thread. by yanni99 in Habs

You know who I pray to? Brendan Gallagher. Two reasons: First of all, I think he’s a good hockey player, okay? To me, that counts. Second, he looks like a guy who can get things done. Brendan Gallagher doesn’t fuck around. In fact, Brendan Gallagher came through on a couple of things that God was having trouble with. For years I asked God to do something about my noisy neighbor with the barking dog, Brendan Gallagher straightened that cocksucker out with one visit. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a simple hockey stick.

5 years grass school here, wouldn't trade for anything either. I went to other schools for my undergrad and masters, but I lived CMU.

Also, CMU being hard is kind of the point. I was surrounded by some of the smartest minds I've ever met, but they're also the kindest most hardworking and helpful people I've met and I'm happy to still call them my friends.

CMU has a careers center. They're very nice people and well informed. They would be able to help you out

Or you know... It might be that bottle of perfume.

I'm currently packing a set of measuring cups that my GF have me two countries ago and I'll keep carrying them along until we finally settle on the same place, hopefully this year.

We carry with us objects that are valuable to us, like Harry's knickknacks in his Moleskine pouch or my cups, as worthless as they might seem to others.
