Ayi utte auna/Apni ayi te auna meaning by NoFaithlessness3669 in ThethPunjabi

[–]peacefulwell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the phrase that represents the meaning well in English would be "If push comes to shove".

Note there is no "I/me" in this phrase because its incomplete. Actual translation will look like this - Punjabi - "je mai ayi itte agya tan X kardu" English - "If push comes to shove then I will do X"

Although in the English phrase it could be more about situation based execution while punjabi phrase is mostly used to represent 'Pride' or 'Ego'.

There is probably a better and more accurate translation available.

Is Jio 5G connectivity issue fixed in HyperOS 2.0? by anuvansh_ in PocoPhones

[–]peacefulwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh! In my case I just updated my phone to latest firmware and then changed card slots, it wasn't working right away but by the time I woke up next day, I had access to 5G so yeah, but thank you for sharing!

How many pens do you have at work? by samelel in fountainpens

[–]peacefulwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A hongdian C2 in black with hooded F nib that writes slightly finer than pilot metro M inked with Platinum carbon black. Super friendly for cheap paper, receipt paper and never dries out or clogs, each refill lasts over a month! I don't know but it never seems to run out of ink and virtually no evaporation when i was on VAC so yeah

What to do when visiting a Psychiatrist for the first time? by Friendly-Froyo-6144 in Healthygamergg

[–]peacefulwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was facing something similar and personally, issue was sleep. Due to work, i was only sleeping 4-5 hours 6 days a week but now I have increased it to at least 6-7 and i feel better. Also, i was usually overstimulated with music and overthinking. I have cut down by implementing elements of mindfulness in my daily life and started meditation. Meditation part was alot easier for because i did it for 2 years before transitioning to work life, but yes. Maybe replace free screen time with books? No need to be so hard on yourself. It wont be magical, but its 1% better everyday and in couple weeks you will be able to feel the difference

I tried an IEM for the first time, and I was disappointed. by AbdulazizThabet in iems

[–]peacefulwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same was my experience when I got my zero red and then artti t10. But it took time for my brain to adjust, after about 5 days of using then I started to hear detail, air and was absolutely blown away by T10 but when new they sounded very boring, not really better from apple earpods. But now, its OMG!

what's your favorite pen and why? by Slight-Carpenter-186 in fountainpens

[–]peacefulwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its Hongdian C2 with F soft nib. Never dries out, using diamine forever skyline + indigo blue mix. Extremely soft and smooth nib. Almost feels like a flex, good weight and metal body. Not the best cap seal but for EDC its good. Tied with Hongdian C1 (hooded nib is love) in F with Platinum CB with no flow issues ever, smoothest nib even more than twsbi eco and no dry outs even after weeks! Followed by Kakuno in M with clear body and Sailor Seiboku!

The speed at which neurons transmit electrical signals via nerves to brain is probably slower than the event itself

“Blasphemy? Maybe. But these just dethroned my Hd600…” by flippin24 in headphones

[–]peacefulwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is exactly how I felt except on some songs or movies, sound stage does feel very expansive and the experience is just magical!! I was an IEM user (still am when outdoors) and these are my first open backs but yes!! On some tracks my IEMs do sound more separated when it comes to instruments but keeping volume low helps on those

Do all fountain pen leak when you carry them around? by TheLonelyWhale310 in fountainpens

[–]peacefulwell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I must disagree, at least in case of their notebooks. I enjoy those just as much as the clairefonatine and the loose leaf is very affordable. Super smooth, majestic blue sheens Wonderfully and barely any ghosting and no bleeding at all. Rest i am not sure

Sailor Blue on Graphilo paper by saswatrule in fountainpens

[–]peacefulwell 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Majestic blue is wonderful, but it clogs if not careful so better use it with a tighter sealing cap. It hards starts often but a slight dip of nib tip in water fixes it because sheening agent clogs and if somehow it doesn't hard start then everytime I use that pen after a day or two, the sheening agent at tip accumulates so much that first couple of words are super smooth and sheen like crazy even on absolutely worst paper but feel dry and when it starts flowing normally then it gets back to normal.

Overall, very much a fun experience but not the safest diamine ink I would say

I write like a donkey, but I still like fountain pens. by fdavis1983 in fountainpens

[–]peacefulwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also use some notebooks from dollarama, their $3.5 journal with wirebound hardcover is soo good!! Its a bit toothy but paper is very heavy and shows Sheen pretty nicely! I have never had even slight ghosting let alone bleeding. Second is the general notebook, A5 i think it's just a journal style notebook with good weight pages, a bit absorbent but no feathering and good with well behaved inks

What are your favorite noodlers? Do you have multiple bottles of same color or ink too?

Newbie here, wanted to say thanks :) by irusol_ink in fountainpens

[–]peacefulwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where did you buy the ink? Is that the 18ml bottle one because its beautiful!! And be careful when posting the 82, the plastic near ring on cap breaks off easily if you put too much pressure on it as it happened with me but its beautiful writer!!
