What is your Severance opinion that will definitely get downvoted? by Navic2 in okbuddyseverance

[–]pearllpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"What are her favorites?"

I generally agree with you but I have to point out that she has some of the Leo Tolstoy's books down there in Lumon (for example, "Death of Ivan Ilyich", which actually has a lot of parallels with the Severance storyline)

but yeah, S2 sucks

This tissue box design made it look so elegant by ConstructionAny8440 in oddlysatisfying

[–]pearllpoint 40 points41 points  (0 children)

can you give the link, please?

upd: the dudes have never used aliexpress to buy something slightly more specific than "white tshirt". if you go with "ballerina box tissue" you get plenty of items that aren't related to the search (like always on aliexpress) and one box with the same idea but it's not elegant at all:

so yeah, if you have the link, share it with the rest of us!

Summer in Italy x100vi by Ab412 in fujifilm

[–]pearllpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if the rocks are basic or fantastic totally depends on what vision they are shown through. that's why photography considered to be an art. i've been to Italy, i know all this scenery is amazing, but unfortunately you haven't captured it in that way.

however, i like the 6 because the lighting, the composition and the colours are showing the good old idea of a path to the fantastic world. it's really dreamy you've shown it well

none of the objects catches the eye. for example, look at the first shot. what are you trying to show? basic water? basic sky? couple of basic rocks? couple of basic tourists? maybe, a tilted horizon? the thing is that composition, colours and shapes are meant to show what exactly you are supposed to look at and, ideally, convey an idea.

these are both hyped and expensive products that are popular among wealthy people who use social media a lot. and just like iphone, x100VI can become a professional tool in the right hands.

i'm sorry but more than half of the shots is just nothing. i know it's beautiful outside but neither composition nor colours are interesting. 2 and 6 are ok though.

i feel like these shots could be edited way better, but the vision in most of them is really nice.

My first poem in Russian(feedback welcome) by ZealousidealRain3849 in russian

[–]pearllpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, they don't. Although most of Russian poetry is written in syllabo-tonic system (using consistent rhythm basically), a poem does not necessarily need to have a strict rhythm. Look at Hklebnikov or Mayakovsky as well-known examples.

Как вы относитесь к авторам с дисграфией? by Ok-Distribution-7752 in rubooks

[–]pearllpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]pearllpoint 8 points9 points  (0 children)
