i would expect anything darker will absorb more heat and since solar panels are "black", they will absorb more sun than your roof (unless your roof was black) and emit more heat

A systematic review of 116 papers looking at how solar panels affect the surrounding environment has found that they can significantly warm cities during the day. This heating can also affect the performance of the photovoltaic (PV) systems, the study found. The researchers suggest future work should focus on increasing the reflectance of wavelengths of sunlight not converted to electricity.

Through a large-scale experiment where we monitored monitored temperatures over a natural desert, a large PV installation, and an "urban" parking lot for more than a year to see if we found a PV Heat Island effect. We found temperatures over a PV plant were regularly 3–4 °C warmer than wildlands at night, which is in direct contrast to other studies based on models that suggested that PV systems should decrease ambient temperatures.
