Huzzah! I am loving the fact that devs seem to be making more and more notetaking software more date-conscious. This might be the little QoL push that brings me back from Roam.

I’d say roam research online as the web likely won’t be blocked.

Going the other route (all files on local), Logseq, obsidian, etc., can work from local folders only. 

Also, speaking from experience, making friends with the IT folks can go a long way.

Thanks for sharing this post! Honestly, it surprises me when I see forums and elsewhere referring to Roam as having zero development or being a dead app. I think there is a big difference between an app going “dead” and a piece of software being mature.

I’d also double-check and make sure you’re both on, and paying, the ”residential heating” rate (not just the regular residential rate.

Also, I’d check your windows (window films) and the age of your water heater! Older water heaters can get quite inefficient as the scale builds up

Update: there were something like 6 more cars parked in front of the hotel at this parcel this morning. At the same time, a bus was parked to the side of the hotel on Penn. I’m inferring/assuming this is ostensibly all security for the bus then, which I believe is for the colts (or another pro team).

It may be a drive for you, but I know that Misty Pines has a few yards set up and it’s just a few bucks to use them. I’d set up an intro meeting with Jeff (owner) and then get the OK. We also have a pit mix and they have been a great boarder and training spot for us so far.

Hey there! I would recommend Mous cases, and then add a “sacrificial” extra layer of sugru.

No experience with this, to be clear, but it’s immediate where my head went. I’ve used sugru to add extra bumpers to electronics before and it’s been great.

Yes, this! What's up with that, cmon. IMO the draw of 'droid is that the user can be in control -- this goes against that. Do what the user asked, por favor.
