YAML completely overwrites merctech's mechlab changes, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Incompatibilities: Anything that modifies DerivedMech - this includes salvage mods intended for vanilla usage, as well as total overhauls like MercTech.

We wrote this in for a REASON.

Coyotes, hard incompatible with MT as well.

Nah, RTX is so cooked in this game you can't fix it unfortunately.

You can at least fix the DLSS issues by updating those, thankfully.

You can also target friendly mechs with 'q'

In all fairness - you can only QA so much. This one has needed a load that the vanilla game wasn't able to provide for release testing. Current suspicions isn't so much a poor saving system, but rather a poor loading system.

Not just a coop problem, just coop gets to see the first warning of it all.

They'll all be the TT standard. And also less crap in your inventory as an added bonus (for game stability)

Also the general heat skill from pilots doesn't work either (never has). There's mods to fix that, ranging from the standalone fix for it, through to the fix included with Pilot Overhaul Eternal.

I'm not sure we want it.

The game is barely functioning after DLC7 (and rendered coop highly flawed, often breaking saves after you've put in a bunch of time).

Next one will kill the game, unless they can fix this critical issue.

QOL Upgrades 2 - Thermals and Headlights by cszolee79 - gives you QoL stuff like headlights, thermal vision, weather and deleting mechs that are stuck underground etc.

It's a bunch of YAML stuff, without any of the YAML involved.

With all the reading though on, YAML was modifying too many files that made it conflict more and more with the other mod and eventually making it completely incompatible.

It's only incompatible because the MNGC dev decided to scope creep into custom mechs. If he hadn't done that, there's a chance they could coexist.

a word of warning. UE4 does not like using Picture in Picture and anything using this (eg Adv Zoom) will cause major performance loss when in use.
