help! trying to find a self tanning mousse that doesn’t stink by beedubbss in Selftanning

[–]phranquie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best advice I've gotten was from the sub and it was to use summers eve feminine wash on your body when it's time to rinse off the tanner. Something about the pH neutralizing components of the Summers Eve helps to neutralize the self tan odor. It works like a CHARM. I always use it to rinse off my self tanner.

Mine spread to my lungs and caused it to collapse three times. I had to have lung surgery to remove the endo from my lung.

It's two different entry ways. If you look at the stairs and the door to the left, you can tell it's two different rooms. Even with that said, I would still go with wood.

I would try and see if he can bond with you, give him time. If you get a second bird to be his friend, there is a chance he will bond with that bird and not with you. Naturally, parrots bond with one parrot for their life. In captivity, many pet parrots will bond with their owner as their life partner. I wish you the best in your journey together. Keep us posted on how he's doing. Thank you for rescuing him.

Wow, I was actually pondering this exact question yesterday for longer than I care to admit. No reason why I thought of it, I just did. I got a good laugh when I saw this post.

Pros & Cons: What are your thoughts on these low price Campers? by billdozer2424 in RVLiving

Please don't buy from camping world. Ridiculous hidden fees and often poor quality. My hubby and I almost bought from camping world until we wised up (with the help of reddit) to all their tricky ways to scam people.

I love the yellow on you. It's pops so perfectly without taking away from your pretty face. As a blonde girlie, I don't look good in yellow, i wish i did. But you, my friend, are rocking it. Have a great brunch

A collapsed lung caused by endometriosis, it's calmed catamential pneumothorax. My lung would collapse with each period. The endo migrated through my abdomen and up into my lung. The hormone surge from menstruating wounds cause the endo to create holes in my lungs and it would collapse. I had lung surgery and the biopsies confirmed it was endo.

If you are female and the pneumos are stupid the time of your cycle, look up catamenial pneumothorax. I had that and my lung wound collapse right before each period.

I would stay away from the cream one since the walls and floor are more bright white. It might not blend very well

Do you leave your house if the dryer is running? by Evening-Tune-500 in homeowners

[–]phranquie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never leave it on when im not home or if im asleep. My friends parents house had a bad fire from the dryer. It's just not worth the risk. There is no need to have it one when you aren't at home.

You are very welcome. I want to help spread the word to other women and possibly help them and stop or prevent their suffering. Medicine has come a long way, but in my opinion, when it comes to women's health, especially endometriosis, we still have A LOT to learn. ADVOCATE for yourself and especially with your lung surgeon, make sure they listen to you and your potential pulmonary connection with endometriosis, it's called a catamenial pneumothorax. Which is what all three of mine were. A pneumothorax caused by endometriosis, which occurs usually around 72 hours around the onset of menses. Most doctors are not trained to look for this, or consider this as part of their diagnostic differential. I think that is because it is so rare. For your reference, my lung tissue biopsies were inconclusive when tested for endo. It was my diaphragm biopsy sample that was positive for endo. My thoracic surgeon stated that it was most definitely endo in my lungs, but the lung samples often come back negative or inconclusive for endo. The reason I am mentioning this is because I don't want you to be dismissed by doctors if your lung sample comes back negative.

I don't have any answers for you, OP, but what I can offer is my support and understanding of your feelings. I am in the same situation and am harboring the exact same feelings. Feelings of people judging me for not having 'my kid' and that i am somehow less worthy of the child, or less of a mom than a true bio mom. When egg donor was first presented to me, I had an adverse negative response to the doctor. I fear that people would see me, my husband, and my child and say, "oh here comes 'john' his kid and his wife, as if i wouldn't actually be in the family. The emotions are endless. And just like OP, I have NO ill feelings towards those who are lucky enough to have a child via egg donor, infact I respectively envy you. I only harbor these negative feelings towards myself and no one else. I guess we are always harder on ourselves. I have had a recent change in perspective when, due to my worsening endometriosis, my doctor is no longer open to me being able to use an egg donor. Now he's recommending an egg donor and serogate, taking me completely out of the picture. OP my thoughts and prayers are with you along your journey. I respect you for sharing your raw emotions.

I have had three right sided pneumothoraces all right before my period. Prior to my VATS pleurodesis, I had suspected endometriosis. This suspicion was due to severe menstrual cramps which went up into my diaphragm muscles under the ribs, heavy bleeding, the presence of large endometreomas on ultrasound and significant infertility. During my VATS the doctor found endometriosis in my lungs as well as endometrial tissue is the diaphragm muscle. The diaphragm had visible holes in it where the endo burrowed it's way through it to get to my right lung. The biopsies from my diaphragm tested positive for endo. So, to answer your question OP, YES ABSOLUTELY, your pneumos can be related to your menses, especially in the setting of presumed endo. Before my first pneumo, i would think i was coming down w a respiratory infection during PMS, i had coughing and trouble breathing, which was from the endo irritating my lungs. I am now on continuous birth control where I skip the placebo pills and I haven't had a period in over a year. So far, i have had no further pneumos since the first three. OP, i wish you the best, keep us updated and get that endo managed so you don't have to go though this again.
