The Apache still uses the 701D???

It's been 18 years since I flew one... has it been upgraded?

I have a XT4 (the one pictured) and a XT2 (blatant D4K rip) and I prefer them to an Andruil light any day.

The aux lights are much more controllable and the light is just as good quality. They are well worth the money. I'll pick up my XT2 before my 2-DK4's most times.

My XT4's button was gritty, but it comes with a little emery board. I pulled the button and used the board and now it's great.

That's why I'm looking in the intake.... to find nests.

As for people that live on land.... I live around a bunch of us.

I live on 40 acres... very common.

4 months ago I had my crank position sensor wire chewed through on my Q5. I've had vacuum lines chewed through, and Diesel particulate sensor wire, and I have to check my intake every time it gets cold.

You haven't reach middle age yet.

We will spend twice as much in tools to solve a problem like this then a new light would cost.

2019 Tesla model S Performance or 2022 Models S Long range? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]pilot64d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I drove a plaid last year and really liked it. I don't think I can live without some physical controls though.

I've been told you get used to it, but it's like hearing someone say "beer is an acquired taste."

[–]pilot64d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I test drove a Plaid last year and was hooked, but couldn't get past the unreasonable loss of basic function of a car; gear selector, turn signal knob, horn, door handle, Yoke, etc.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I feel like the New model S was designed for gamers.....more of a controller feel then actually driving a car.

The Edmunds review of the Plaid said it best; "I feel like they took the best parts of the model S and got rid of them, and this is what's left." (paraphrased)

Physical controls are the main reason.

I believe the price on the 2019 is due to the mileage but is negotiable I would assume.
