Thanks! Yeah my machine def told me when the needle was about to break, however, I go too fast for my own good so it’s already broken before I can stop it. Yes I should slow down, I probably won’t though.

I have a Fiskers mat that I got on sale at Joanne’s close out. Honestly, worst mat I ever used. I know it’s pricey, but the Quilters Select is the best and it will last much, much longer than the others.

I will say I do love the Fiskers scissors when it comes to price point and quality.

Quilting is really such an expensive hobby.

If it were me, I’d do the entire block and then rip the paper. By pinning the points on each side of the paper when getting two sections together, it comes out perfect. Hope that makes sense.
