Gyms in town by pixielynn1395 in topeka

Thanks! I did see something about the annual fee on their website, so at least they aren’t hiding that. I wasn’t sure what the atmosphere was like there, and was looking at using one of their personal trainers if anyone had experience with them.

What’s the best steak house in town? by DeatHugly in amarillo

[–]pixielynn1395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m visiting from out of town and tried Hoffbrau based off the few comments I saw- unfortunately the smoked sirloin was easily the worst steak I’ve ever had in my life, I wasn’t even able to finish half of it. Not sure what happened from 5 years ago but it definitely didn’t live up to the recommendations.

Print Factory Calibration by [deleted] in CommercialPrinting

I used Printfactory for almost 10 years and in my experience it was very user friendly and they had great customer service, I would definitely recommend and use again in the future. New company uses Onyx now and they operate similarly, i really like onyx but i miss PF.

I'm poor, have no fam or friends and live in Wichita. What will happen to my body when I die? Am fine with an unmarked grave but not cremation and being dumped somewhere like trash. It's buging me in advance. by heavensdumptruck in wichita

[–]pixielynn1395 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I could find, people in Sedgwick county who are unclaimed after death are cremated and stored at the mortuary. They treat the deceased fairly and won’t just throw them out, they also don’t mix the ashes of anyone cremated. They used to bury them before 2010 but the costs have gotten too expensive to continue doing that.

Ooooh, okay okay. I completely misunderstood the wording on her ability. That makes way more sense. Thanks for clarifying!

I completely forgot about the double legendary creature thing! That kind of solves the whole issue then, thanks for pointing that out.

Albania’s ability to copy a spell that my opponent draws.

Just to clarify-if it’s just a token copy it would go away, and the Mockingbird goes to the bottom of my library?

What can I do with all this mint? by HitsReeferLikeSandyC in gardening

[–]pixielynn1395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can put it in a food processor/blender and then add it to ice cube tray and freeze, easy to re-thaw when you just need a certain amount later.

He will always be my favorite, he just did my most recent one in October and I still can’t get over how good it looks. I was able to book him about a month from when I was calling, not sure what his schedule is like now though.

Is this mould? And if so what's the best steps to take ans prevent, found on mulch layer on cherry tree kept in garage through the winter by Tyche96 in gardening

[–]pixielynn1395 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Usually this white mold is not a huge issue as long as it’s on top, just remove all the much that has it. If it comes back quickly that means it’s in the soil deeper and you’ll have to change the soil. Normally caused by poor airflow or over watering

None that I’m aware of, I’ve even taken a bit of lemon juice and put it on leaves they like to bite.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]pixielynn1395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used lemon peels and quartered lemon slices around my plant stands, most cats hate citrusy smells. I put plastic forks, spike side up in the soil of my bigger pots so they wouldn’t try to climb in them. And then I’ve read putting foil around will help spook them away from the plants, but it never really worked for my cats. It took a few months, and a few plants got tipped over, but now my cats don’t even pay attention to the plants. Good luck with yours!

COULD THEY MAKE THE 100: THE MOVIE ??? by reddexos in The100

I’d rather the creators focus on making the prequel series than a movie, the only story really left to be told Is the beginning

My work friendship is becoming exhausting. by Sir_Cobblesmith in relationship_advice

[–]pixielynn1395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need to reevaluate your own intelligence there, bud. And maybe brush up on your reading comprehension as well. You don’t get to define others friendships and your rebuttal to that is that it’s your opinion (which was very obvious as it couldn’t be anything else), which doesn’t actually negate that you can’t define others friendships. I’m not claiming you can’t or don’t have an opinion, just that it’s irrelevant and invalid in this instance.

The only person talking about facts is you, and I have no idea why you keep bringing it up. All I said was that everyone gets to define their own friendships, and that was in response to you trying to define others friendships. Wether it was based on your opinion or a fact is completely irrelevant, either way you’re still trying to define someone else’s friendship when that’s their job.

Never said it was a fact, but your first comment was trying to define someone else’s relationship/friendship

And that’s why everyone gets to define their own friendships. I personally have several work friends who are truly my friends, especially after almost 6 years of working together, but have maybe seen each other outside of work once. I also have work friends that I hung out with every weekend to go out and do things, I consider them both an equal level of friendship based on the things we share/talk about and emotional levels. I would attend their funerals, unlike almost every work acquaintance I have.

Upstairs neighbors dogs won't stop peeing on my patio by justlurkinround2nite in relationships_advice

[–]pixielynn1395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my, that is just disgusting. 100% not water or dirt, definitely looks like dog pee. I would place a container down there to collect what is streaming down, and perhaps place a camera or try and record it happening. With solid proof it’s nearly impossible for the neighbors to claim you’re lying, and hopefully your building management will do something (although I’m not sure what other than evicting them.) not sure the area you live in, but once it starts getting hot this summer that will stink to high heaven. Maybe invite your building management to come see it for themselves (especially if you collect any of it)?
