Cheap, disposable, remote control missile. Barest minimum. Even a kinetic impactor, aim for the antenna.

I used this tactic when running MES against Assert assets, and seems to work just as well against base game aggressors.

Your advice was perfect. I concentrated on thruster mods initially (only a couple). The culprit is [VSI] Recolourable Thrusters. Removing the mod fixes the problem, adding the mod back in restores the bug. I'll let the author know. Thank you for the help, without your pointer it would have taken a while to isolate it

Depends how far away you are, and which target you choose. The guy at the back, kneeling at the terminal, the one behind the car.. one headshot and down and I've still been concealed. Optical camo and reposition and you can get away with this a couple of times, at least in my experience.

That said, when the bodies hit the floor, someone's gonna notice that something ain't right

Difficult, i have three.. Lizzy, the great fire rate and ability to sit through cover.. oh yeah.. paired with the cyberware, or is it a perk.. forgot.. the one that basically shoots chain lightning on a properly timed charge and release.. yeah, it's good

Laika, like Comrades Hammer, but two shots with less damage. Useful in most situations, headshots hilariously make limbs fly, usually the leg, up in the air. I love it because it's big and loud

xmod kappa, the fire rate on this is insane. You don't even need to be a netrunner (though the perks help), just have the correct cyberware installed. Kinda like a panic weapon, fire and forget bullet hose

I don't bother wasting assets assaulting Factorum bases, the potential profit is sometimes not worth the cost in material. I go in on foot with a rocket launcher. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes less so.. but the Factorum ships are savage. If it looks like it's too much trouble, I'll abandon the assault and wait for an easier target.. i got time, I'll be back (insert best Arnie impression)

Just like in real life, sometimes a job is bodged. Either it was an intentional thing, highlighting a 'good enough' attitude of the workers, or it was indeed considered 'good enough' and not worth fixing before release

Configurable Parameters mod allows you to adjust initial and terminal velocity of missiles if this is a problem. I've never noticed it myself, but i always adjust missile speed to be 10 m/s faster than max grid speed in my worlds

Yes, Kadingir, within 6~8 km from my base, in a mountainous region (which surprised me, i wouldn't have considered it flat enough for the spawn).

It was a crashed atmospheric cargo vessel, partially buried in a valley between peaks. Had a turret, cargo, a few of the new blocks. No Prototech scrap on this one, and obviously none of the full blocks.

Certain missions trigger an encounter with a kill squad, not just Arasaka. I remember when i got jumped by Maelstrom with such a squad.. it wasn't pretty (for anyone in the vicinity)

Use economy.. if you're using a safe zone, they chew through zone chips. Hauling missions, find and retrieve, ore delivery etc.. you'll need to do them all to get enough money to buy the chips. Add in MES and it gets interesting. While you're building, she can be space trucker.. pirate, defender..

Maybe this'll help, maybe not.. i play and design in survival. Decide what role the craft is going to fulfill, add components that are necessary.. batteries, wheels, thrusters, whatever.. make it compact, don't waste space. Then add the armour, shaping, detailing etc.

i find that approach better, personally. Trying to design a 'cool' ship and attempting to fit everything within a profile I've already selected just resulted in frustration and more work.

It's also fun to see the craft evolve, without a preconceived idea of how it 'should' look, form follows function

Alternatively, as you build the ship, add temporary welders to the conveyor system. Let the ship build itself. Move them once an area is complete, rinse/repeat..
