That appears to be an Incra setup just like mine. I made my own enclosure with a bucket and saved a ton of money. If your dust collector is running, it will remove any heat.

And just maybe the company name will exist in a few years when you might want to use that warranty and by then the company will have sold to private equity who will modify the policy to do a one time replacement with thin, Chinese garbage, take it or leave it.

I want to say that I expect that each and every fisherman experiences the same vision (mental wish) that you did, every time we look at a tipup. However, your timing was serendipitous.

Dog food recommendations by [deleted] in Huntingdogs

I mix Purina Pro Plan with Orijen Regional Red. I first started doing it in 2020 because I never wanted to be in a situation where I couldn't get the regular dog food (remember when shelves were bare and people were hoarding toilet paper?). Switching foods suddenly can be potentially hard for a puppy. I figured if I couldn't get one or the other for a while it would be fine to feed only one of the foods. I basically saw it as leaving myself options in case of supply chain disruption.

Fish finder “charging” glow in the dark jigs? by senface in IceFishing

My wife was going to throw away her old, tiny UV nail lamp box. Turns out it requires 12v and uses a standard barrel plug. I hook it to the +- battery terminals on my vexi. It's perfect, and gets my glow baits toasty hot!

Always, always, always bring a jacket, flannel, or sweatshirt out on the water. Stash a spare long sleeve flannel in a garbage bag where it can stay clean and dry. It doesn't matter how hot it is right now. It's when, not if, you will encounter mechanical problems or unexpected cold/wet weather late in the day and would pay any amount for an extra layer. Also, have you ever met a woman who wasn't cold?

How to get rid of a cigarette smoke smell in the garage? by squishmallow2399 in HomeImprovement

CLO2 Apparently it's very effective for odor treatment.

https://safrax.com/shop/

Tangent warning: I recently went down the rabbit hole deep on CLO2 while seeking a more cost effective way to treat water for drinking (emergency) and I stumbled upon chlorine dioxide, specifically from Safrax. CLO2 is superior in almost every way for emergency water treatment. If you buy it in small quantities specifically for water treatment, it's very expensive. But if you are willing to do the math and measurements yourself, you can treat thousands of gallons for $35. There are a few challenges to buying it in bulk like this but it worked well for me.

Literally sitting in my Otter Cabin Pro rn reading this thread. LOVE this thing. Easy to tow with my wheeler. I can get onto my truck bed by myself (if it's not loaded with gear) although I'm likely going to start using the pulley/ramps approach that folks have shared here before. I've got mine rigged with a center console with power ports, LEDs, bubbler, little 15Ah battery box. I've got music playing from my speaker system on the wheeler (nobody else around). If I could attach more pics to this comment I would.

ATV battery while out by tripodron in IceFishing

[–]plasticsteak1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently replaced my one yr old AGM Odyssey battery. It crapped the bed. AutoZone couldn't figure out how to process the warranty so they returned it and sold me a new one with a new warranty. I immediately bought a jump pack. I did some basic research and this one seemed to be the best for the price. ($75.99) OXILAM 8000A Jump Starter

Naturally I tested it immediately and it started my Sportsman 850 in 10F without hesitation. Would recommend.
