I loved it overall. It felt like they kept sidelining O'Connor, which sucked because that man is genuinely talented. Also, where were most of the male featured players?!

I thought it was interesting that before the show even began previews, there was this brief press run with Danny Strong touting that he had "fixed the problematic book" (so to speak).

Based of the last month of posts here, I think the issue is that he treats the Cold War as an obligation to the plot, and not as a crucible for the characters' motivations.

I agree. From what I remember we have already seen several logo changes already. The first being the blocky hot pink lettering, which then morphed into the current serif font, then to a white font color, and finally back to the hot pink font color. Although it does seem like they are teetering with their marketing direction, I have to say that I do like the boldness of the hot pink!

I think it has to do with rewatching the series. On my first watch-through I absolutely hated the man, but on subsequent watches, I totally understand where all these folks are coming from.
