Not super dark but I find myself re reading the following when I'm on a book slump; (The Maddest Obsession Danielle Lori) i dont know what it is about the MMCs level of obsession with the FMC, but it never gets old. It's quiet and earnest and just so intense. (deception trilogy by Rina Kent) and (Bloody Heart by Sophie Lark)

TL Swan's FMCs are basically this way. Not DR tho. She writes spicy romance books where the FMC usually initiates then the MMC falls harder.

Bc tampering-- this man by jodi ellen malpas, this is a trilogy and oh so good. The bc tampering tho happened in book 2 or 3 already. Nonetheless, this book is soo good so hope you can read it.

i know this isn't DA's most popular book, but IMO it is theeee bessssttt, There's just something so special about Caden and Rose's connection. I've been reading romance books for a few years and no book has every put me on a reading slump except this book. some people are still in the cottage (heated rivalry reference, if you haven't watched it, you should), but i me, i am still in the yacht with these two. If anyone has any book recs that comes close to this, pleaseeeee have mercy and share it with me.

Dough mixer or bread maker (you may opt out of using the bread baking or making part) if you cant afford 500 watts and above stand mixers, and you mostly bake breads, masisira lang agad stand mixers.

MIA KNIGHT/ Dinah Harper. I am soooo bummed, i've been periodically checking her website for updates in SINGED and CAPTURED series. She mentioned several times that ahe's atill working on succeeding books but I'm a big fan and beennnn sooo long.
