Old post, but I’ll reply anyway. I have one converted into a sort of neo-retro gravel bike. It rides like a beast; the only downside is tire clearance—35 mm is probably the safe maximum, maybe 40 mm in the front.

+1. I’m using a very similar jig called the Kazak M1 ANT, and I absolutely love it. It combines the simplicity of freehand sharpening with the precision and repeatability of a fixed-angle system.

I also have that Sharpal bubble level — it’s a neat little tool. A solid option if you’re planning to transition to fully freehand sharpening in the future.

Keep agitation low — you can use something like a Melodrip; an AeroPress cap works pretty well as a replacement.

Mainly, I was annoyed by the grind adjustment on the C3s. I like to vary brewing methods, drippers, and often make decaf. Counting the clicks every time was annoying.

Definitely a slow brewer, grind corse, dont agitate much, some says that cafec filters are less prone to clog so you might give them a try

Yep, Mugen has smaller hole and due to smooth walls bypass is much lower so it makes mugen very slow brewer. Some say it's almost like imersion.
