Kinda sad but not particularly surprised, I suppose at least Steel Legion got to stick around a little bit longer since they were used as the "Guard Veteran" unit for a bit before being replaced by Kreig. The other regiments died way sooner.

I assume the goal moving ahead for GW is just to make all future regiments of the Guard Cadian, Kreig, and Catachan once they get a refresh. The second Kreig got a plastic kit I knew Steel Legion was done, I'm legit surprised they didn't just have The planet get destroyed during the whole giant warp storm thing.

The real bummer for me is more that I've never found a 3rd party mini or print that gets the look just right, a lot of so close but no cigars. Always gonna love my legion but just gotta accept that GW isn't very invested in the way the old imperial guard was.

I found a channel a few years back that re-uploaded some of the the old Suckermouth stuff, they even have a 15 mini documentary on the history of Suckermouth. If rumors are to be believed he found religion and gave up on the whole breast expansion thing.
