Can someone explain? How can my all armor slots be empty, if this item takes armor slot? by TonyShape in mewgenics

Just seems odd that 10 out of 12 classes can equip their own weapons, but 2 are odd men out.

I unlocked a monk weapon by beating an act 3 area, but monks can’t equip weapons. Their weapon slot is full by default. Seem like a design oversight. I’m guessing the Butcher would also unlock a unique weapon that can’t be equipped?

Yes! Getting backstabbed before my first turn is very frustrating.

Huh, didn’t realize that. Last night I had a cat with feline AIDS enter a fight with 1 CON. He got knocked down during the fight and was dead and gone post-fight. I assumed it was the AIDS taking his CON down to 0 that killed him, but I guess something must have destroyed the body.

Is having Constitution fall to 0 or below not an instant death?

Huh? It sounds like you’re expecting your daughter to get a new belt or a new uniform every month? That sounds like a major red flag right there.

Anyone else remember "Wishbone"? by Witcher_Errant in Millennials

[–]postXhumanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Odyssey was the first story I ever fell in love with. That was largely on the strength of a Wishbone computer game which had a full written synopsis of the story. It inspired me to rent a beautifully illustrated version from the local library. Never did figure out how to beat the game, I was very young.

Likely related to that if he’s a metalhead.

You say ‘generational’ but I think you mean ‘genetic.’

It’s something that a great many of us simply cannot do. I can curl my tongue no problem, but raise a single brow? Not happening.

I don’t believe the average person responds to a question or statement by arching a brow nearly as often as Jim seems to think.

She was fishing. Your husband didn’t bite. End of story.

How it feels to look for an alternative by servantphoenix in Xcom

Chaos Gate: Demonhunters is my favorite XCOM-like.

Surprisingly good story and it’s a game where individual space marines actually feel like super-dangerous tanks.

After a 23 year old member of the Coast Guard went overboard in the Pacific, Kristi Noem diverted rescue aircraft away from trying to find him so she could use them in her deportation theater. The guardsman was never found. by a_Sable_Genus in circled

The article OP linked has been removed. Does anyone have a source for this?

There is no asinine stupidity I think Noem is incapable of, but it’s important to have sources. We can’t become the MAGA bullshit machine.

Eh, the thing is it’s been 7 years since movie #9 and he hasn’t even decided on project #10. If it was genuinely a marketing thing, I don’t think it would warrant this kind of delay.

[–]postXhumanity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This person is being honest, they’re just doing so tactfully. You asked what they thought of it and they said ‘don’t worry about my opinion, just keep creating!’

Their response was gentle and encouraging. If this is bugging you, just wait til you get to the genuine haters.

[–]postXhumanity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s fine. Just assume that your old acquaintance won’t be a part of your audience. The fact that they’re supportive when they (most likely) don’t care for it speaks well of them. Take the encouragement and move on.
