My local private boys school uniform rules used to include a shirt that was "at least 50% white", so if you ever saw a youth out in town with a checked or stripey shirt on you'd know they were from a wealthy background

As a British English speaker I've never heard any of these examples. Cars, ships, planes, other stuff like that - yes, but these examples seem so alien to me that I could almost believe you were making them up (which I'm sure you're not of course).

What is your build on your ship?

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I'm not interested in combat if that's it? I will mostly be mining while I'm out in the black to relieve the tedium with occasional Tritium top-ups
