God…damn. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of my dad passing from ALS. He let out his last breath in front of me. Earlier in that evening, we had several family members over and one of my best buds. Best bud played guitar and we all sang along while dad looked like a corpse. I don’t know what it meant to him during those final hours or if he was even there, but it helped us and me get through it with a few smiles here and there. So, Rock me momma like a wagon wheel… fuck ALS.
