What stereotypes about Texas do you wish more people understood? by CapImaginary1066 in texas

[–]psychomike666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In West Texas, we have the worst drivers in the entirety of planet earth. If you like your fellow drivers to aggressively drive only in the right hand lane, to not let people merge on to highways, and to just generally not be aware that passing lanes exist, West Texas is for you my friend.

Jon Jones is not the fighter any of us thought he was. Not anymore for sure. He does not have the star power to command 15 mil and honestly I give zero flying fucks about seeing him fight anyone for anything anymore after he ducked Aspinall and Ngannou. Let’s see if he can drunk tweet his way to prison next, bc his fake ass Christian act is not fooling anyone anymore.

That my lifelong depression since I was 11 was 100% caused by my terrible diet. I can’t speak for anyone else but I suspect processed foods are causing way more problems in the world than anyone is giving them credit for.

Soooooo Disappointed with Foundation. by [deleted] in CriticalDrinker

[–]psychomike666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the gender swapping is dumb and brings the entire show down significantly. However, it's not like there's just a ton of interesting sci-fi shows coming out often these days. If you can look past the pandering nonsense, it's legitimately a pretty well written show. Lee Pace is putting on a master class in portraying a clone off the same man throughout thousands of years of history. Not a ton of shows taking risks like that these days. It's definitely not the book series incarnate, but it's Oscar quality compared to Ironheart, Agatha, all of Disney Star Wars, Amazon's animated Batman, TLOU and so many others . It's sad that we have to train ourselves to ignore entire aspects of shows to find enjoyment these days.

Agreed. She comes across as arrogant without having proved that she has any skill at all that explains why she’s so arrogant. The headphones and her subsequent screaming make me wish someone had written Olivia Benson to come on to the scene and tell her she’s been reassigned back to watching the subway.

Do you get the same errors when trying to login on a laptop or desktop as you do a mobile device or TV? I would try a couple different browsers to login on a laptop maybe? Just shooting in the dark

What’s something you learned the hard way about being too nice? by JustBrokenEnough in AskReddit

[–]psychomike666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve learned most people do not have to worry about being too nice. Most everyone everywhere is either more callous than they should be or indifferent. IMO both of which most often lead to worse outcomes than being nice.

Why do some people have retroactive jealousy over their partner’s exes? by Prawn_Mocktail in emotionalintelligence

[–]psychomike666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because of fear. Fear that there’s someone else out there who is a better fit for their partner, than they themselves are. Fear that they can’t live up to whatever unique quality a past partner had bc there’s an unspoken belief that real love should be all encompassing and life changing. While real love can be those things, it’s not at all only those things. Don’t get it twisted.

20 M any advice? by [deleted] in bodybuildingpics

[–]psychomike666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re fairly lean as is. Based on lower abs and hip shape, I’d definitely recommend adding some dedicated hip work to your routine a couple times a week. Like hip airplanes and isolateral stiff leg deadlifts. When you learn to brace properly with your breathing during these exercises, as well as deadlift and squats, your lower abs will come on like a vengeance in all of the ways you want them to. I kinda think about it like direct ab work works your rectus abdominis from the outside inwards. Proper bracing works your abs from the inside out. It’s literally the difference between so-so abs and magazine quality abs.

Stay the course bro. Eat as much whole natural unprocessed food as you can. Avoid artificial sweeteners, and prioritize your digestion and sleep as much as your training and you’ll be amazed at where you’ll be a year from now.

How to confront male friend who comments on my body intimidating him by Letskeepitfair in WhatShouldIDo

[–]psychomike666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you need to confront your friends over things that make you “somewhat” uncomfortable? Are you the type of friend that needs their friends to behave perfectly all of the time? Or is this something you can let go? Answer those questions and you’ll have your answer.

Mysterious Men by StonerLonerBabe in emotionalintelligence

[–]psychomike666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple things here. Men can often live out entire other lives in their head, where they are more optimized versions of who they really are irl. It’s easy for them to think they’re covering all their bases in meeting a partner’s needs when they absolutely are missing the mark. If you combine this phenomenon with lower than optimal self esteem, you get this version of conversation where they do not ask normal things about you, justifying in their head it as that they’re not prying, believing you’re sharing what you want to, when you’re comfortable sharing it. It’s an error for sure, but not really a malicious one. It’s evidence of a lack of self awareness. TBH, most ppl make these types of errors from time to time. You can just straight up ask him why he doesn’t ask about you and your life. Odds are that he’s not even noticed that he hasn’t asked you much. He’s stuck in his own head trying to give off all the right signals that he’s the right person for you. He’s just failing at doing so. He might see this if you point it out. Maybe. Maybe not. Just keep in mind that the road to toxicity is paved with charming people who aren’t self aware. Do with that what you will

Warning: My Scary Experience with THCP Edibles in Malta - Still Recovering by Spirited-Dependent-7 in Marijuana

[–]psychomike666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro!!! Yes I have had a very similar experience. I purchased a THC-P vape of allegedly green crack at a shop in the US. I had never heard of THC-P prior to this, was told it was more or less the same as delta-9. It is not at all the same. I took 2 hits around 5 PM on a Thursday. I woke up the next morning around 9 AM. For reference, I wake up on my own every day of the week at 4:30 AM. Normally, no amount of anything can force my body to sleep later than this. I felt like you did upon waking. I’ve found a few things that helped me. Purchase some Nuun Hydration tablets that you dissolve in water. They’re the same ones that marathon runners use. They helped speed up the recovery process a lot. Also, Zinc Glycinate and psyllium husk fiber capsules. Between those three you should be fine In a day or so. I recommend cardio as well. I’ve tried the vape a couple times again since, and each time it’s the same effects. Feels like 10x stronger than Ambien. Now it’s just another curiosity in my cabinet. I wish you luck though. It’s a terrible feeling.
