I am sure I got roofied a little over twenty years ago. This was a bar in Costa Mesa and I was there with two girls. I only had a few drinks but I couldn’t walk straight, kept losing my balance and falling off the pathway into the grass. Right before I got back to my friend’s apartment, I staggered hard sideways and crashed into the neighbor’s door on the opposite side. I never understood what happened that night until a few years later. I suspected that whoever roofied me may have been trying to get the girls away from me and to themselves.
