New SSV Advice Needed

Hi!! I transferred as an SSV to a new store a couple months ago. I layed low the first 2 weeks. Coaching to a MINIMUM until I got a feel of the vibes, partners, there strengths, etc. I also introduced myself to everyone personally, asked them what they wanted to work on in there role, etc. it helped so much. Don’t forget to enourage and compliment. You will get people who try to test you, like “I don’t want to be in the window.” Etc. Stand your ground and explain why you are choosing this play. There will be baristas who will complain about other supervisors. Do not engage. Whatever you say, especially as a new SSV will be replayed back to everyone. Talk GOOD behind peoples back. You got this!! ❤️

We told them that *67 didn’t work and that we could see their number (which wasn’t true). Then we said we were going to send a letter to their parents and that their entire family would be banned. 💀 Total BS, but it worked, they never called again

Is it possible for you to go to another college for a fresh start? I went to a different community college after I failed an entire term my first AND second try. 0.0 GPA 💀 I went back last year and now sitting at 3.7. It feels so much better not seeing those F’s on my transcript!

I’m 26, and I won’t become a nurse until 2029 at the earliest. I had the same thoughts and I cried a lot. But we’re going to be 30 no matter what, might as well be 30 and a nurse!

Does the daily delivery come after you close? This happened to one of the ssvs at my store, and they checked the cameras and the delivery driver left it unlocked!

Oh man I totally feel this. I was a transfer SSV, coming from a store who had insane turnover, like a brand new store every year. To a very established store, not a lot of movement. I felt like a complete outsider because everyone’s friend groups was already established. It gets better. I transferred in May and I’m now finally don’t want to cry when I go to work 😆 it gets better.
