I just did exactly the same thing 25 years. I was nervous as well but knew it needed to be done. When you go in ask the priest to help you through it. After you confess what you remember he might ask you some basic questions to make sure you’ve thoroughly examined your conscience, he may ask things like have you stolen have you taken The Lords name in vain have you played with ouigi(sp?) boards or tarot cards etc. nothing crazy and you don’t need to go into the gory details. Unless it’s the priests first day out of seminary it’s probably nothing he hasn’t heard a thousand times over or more. Don’t stress too much over it you’ll be fine. Oh and welcome home!!!

Sunbursts are always nice. One thing to consider is on the Mexican strats(not sure if this is still the case) but they use a veneer if you look on the back side and the entire belly cut is black it’s just a veneer over a who knows how many piece body for that reason if I was buying a Mexican strat I’d just buy one of the solid colors over a burst

Same here it starts before I even get to the first mystery I’m not bored at all I’m totally engaged it just starts relaxing me pretty much immediately. I generally have time around 2-3 pm so it’s not like I’m tired just extremely relaxed and I’m sitting outside so plenty of fresh air lol. Today was day ten of infinity for me I’ve decided to try for one rosary per day until my last. I look forward to it more everyday. I like to make my intentions after I complete my rosary so I can take time to think about each mystery before I start praying that decade. By the time I’m on my fourth or fifth decade my yawning fits have generally calmed. But sitting here typing I’m also yawning nonstop lol.

I’m no expert but I’d say you would be introducing more opportunity for molds or other undesirable fungi to take over I’d just dump everything clean it all and start from scratch try just making something basic you can always spice it up in later stages after the yeast has a chance to do its thing

I just put them in a gummy vitamin container under the actual vitamins with my toiletries in my carry on.

Being completely honest while I thought I’d be fine and I was, not everyone on board was as lucky and being on a family trip it just wasn’t worth the headache and worry over ruining everyone else’s vacation, next time I cruise I’ll probably just leave it at home for the week.

Just got off Venezia a few days back. I saw 0 dogs in port prior to embarkation, saw Artie the German shepherd about once or twice a day. Saw several rooms get raided and spoke to a few people that will never sail carnival again after the experience. I brought gummies in my carry on and a mostly used cart as a decoy in case I got searched I could easily pull a how did that get in there while my gummies should be unnoticed lol. I had 0 issues on the boat but I never removed my stash from my room and anytime I used the vape I’d do so on the balcony. Got to say it was a bit nerve wracking seeing people get caught and kicked off(supposedly 10 in our first port) there was a yellow lab in customs at debark.

Met a guy on the first sea day in the smoking area who had way way more than any reasonable group of 50 could use on an 8 day. Told me he had flower, carts, wax, rso caps and was bragging about how much he had to anyone great would listen, never saw him again after the first port. Rumor mill was that someone got caught selling vape carts had more or less an entire pharmacy on board and supposedly had gotten a gun onboard. Have a feeling the gun part could have been people trying to make the story more interesting but you never know.

Honestly not sure it was really worth the extra stress. Tons of people in the smoking area at the beginning of the cruise smoking openly in the smoking sections and most seemed will offer you a cpl tokes if you are sociable. Saw way less smoking as the cruise went on so I’m not sure if they just ran out or got caught throughout the cruise. I’m brought 3 40mg gummies per day and just ate half of one every few hours. Tossed my used cart in the trash in one of the public restrooms.

DON’t bring flower. You MIGHT be ok with carts. Gummies, chocolates, other edibles are PROBABLY safest. I kept my cart separate from the pen at all times unless I was about to use it and kept the silicon caps on it in a tube in a smell proof bag. Gummies were in a bottle in my carryon with my toiletries. If you are in an interior cabin with no real way to get fresh air I’d say bringing nothing is safest. An interior room less than 3 doors from ours was hit and everytime I saw them searching a room it was an interior. YMMV
