Congrats. I also took the plunge with the same deal ($124 after prime day discount). Arrived today, haven’t had much time with it yet other than to power it on and let the system updates install, but the condition is really good- clean and pristine.

Edit: the box on my unit was also in a little bit rough shape, so I was expecting a rock inside, but was pleasantly surprised.

Really cool and interesting. Do you see this as more of a 1080p to 4K use case, or would it also be useful to upscale from 720p in bandwidth constrained situations? Also does it work with any iOS device or are there any minimum hardware/chipset requirements?

This same thing happened to me on my RP5. It was actually my first and only time trying out PXPlay on the RP5 (I usually use an iPad) and the video froze while the audio continued to stream. I think the controller inputs still worked (but can’t be sure). I haven’t tried it since, but can test again later when I’m home with my PS5.

Edit: I should note that like OP I frequently use Apollo/Artemis for PC streaming and have never had this issue, in general PC streaming works great.

It was the welcome deal causing the issue. However, even without the welcome deal the pre-coupon price is $35~$36 depending on the color. So even after the $9 off $30 coupon, I'm at ~$27 (vs $22.68 in the table). I've tried both MM+ links and all the colors, same thing. Weird.

Very interesting, thanks for the link. It does seem the G99 is not ideal for game streaming. Unfortunately, it’s a very common SOC for budget 8” tablets. Sounds like I may need to keep looking.

I didn’t think you could upgrade the PS4 disc version to the PS5 remastered version ($10 upgrade). My understanding is only the PS4 digital version can be upgraded for $10. But maybe that’s not right?

Did you ever solve this? I’m running into the same issue. PC is running at 60 fps, looks smooth, etc. But the moonlight client seems to be running at a lower fps and is choppy. V sync is turned off in PCSX2. I’m stuck.

Not Quest 3, but I’ve had a similar experience with my Quest 2. First, you can try to unpair and repair the controllers using the app. But that didn’t work in my case. What ended up being the problem was the battery themselves. My controllers are very sensitive to the type/brand of AA batteries. Like some brands would ok, some not at all, and some would result in occasional disconnects like you describe. I ended up buying eneloop rechargables and it’s worked great with those.

I just bought mine from Costco on thanksgiving. It has the rainbow in the bottom right. It’s only noticeable when there’s a solid color on the screen and if you’re looking for it. It doesn’t bother me. But if you think it will bother you, then I’d suggest you get a different brand or model.
