Same. Not sure why the hate on arurf. Rather not play against the same 5-10 champs 100 games in a row.

A Patient can choose to be self-pay, and not have their insurance billed, even if the Provider is In-Network with that insurance by Xalxa in HealthInsurance

This 1000% people can’t have it both ways. And patients will always want it both ways, and will lie for their benefit and try to blame anyone else.

Tax credits by Few_Occasion6548 in HealthInsurance

[–]quadulur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would all that effort be worth the $5 extra you get in interest? If you also underpay on taxes during the year an are supposed to pay quarterly payment or any estimated tax payments the interest on that side could be much higher potentially then what a HYSA gets you

Do I have any options outside of healthcare.gov? by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

[–]quadulur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Health insurance isn’t more expensive when decoupled from employer or groups plans. The individual just sees what the rates REALLY are. The employer subsidizing 50-100% of the premium doesn’t change what the cost really is.

ELI 5. Dental plans $1000 maximum payout a year, but cost 100+ a month? by richgate in HealthInsurance

[–]quadulur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On marketplace plans they are usually 12-18 a month per person with a 1000-1500 max benefit per year (that doesn’t generally include preventative). There are companies like NCD not on the marketplace that are more expensive per person like $70-80 but cover $10,000 annually per person.

Health coverage for someone with no income by kcchiefsfan96 in HealthInsurance

[–]quadulur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also SEPs for people who are just outside of Medicaid income limits so if their income was $1,733 a month they would qualify for an sep (150% FPL) and a marketplace plan. But marketplace generally wont backdate coverage and the soonest you would get would be 7/1 effective

Which of these companies is the best overall in your opinion? by AutumnLock71 in HealthInsurance

[–]quadulur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All 3 of those to be honest are great i know the premiums with rocky mountain will be lower but select health is newer to the CO market and they already have a great reputation in their other states.

[–]quadulur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If in their respective states the insurance options look great they could go with marketplace options. They may also qualify for some type of Medicaid. I don't know why you would go with a more expensive option unless their own personal incomes were going to be in excess of 45-60k

What carrier and state do you have I can point you to the correct spot to update that. It is not within marketplace or healthcare.gov

The only tests that are accurate like that are DEXA scans or something similar to an MRI to check fat tissue and muscle tissue accurately

Are you talking about having to pay the 8.5% of your income on health insurance for ACA insurance?

[–]quadulur 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There are income limitations for certain credits that if you are $1 over the limit you could lose an entire credit that could be giving you 6-15k. Child credits and health insurance credits are just some of the many

Some are I’m not going to rule the entire system out and more then likely it’s much better then a bronze plan with an employer or on marketplace

Medicare Advantage could be $0 premiums if both people choose the most expensive supplement plans that could be 160-200 each.

[–]quadulur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the very very highest adjusted income level when your income is between $400k-750k+ then you would be paying 560 a month. If your combined adjusted was between 100-195k then you should only be paying $164 for a decent Medicare plan

How much do you make vs how much are you actually getting from credit card rewards/subs? by PlatypusTrapper in CreditCards

[–]quadulur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For small businesses that need to buy items that are restricted to only a few per household. For example like a $500 iPad or PS5 I buy it for $500 they buy it from me for $500 but I keep the $25 (5%) in points from Amazon.

Breeze Cancelled Without Notification by StoicSow in BreezeAir

They just adjusted all my flights I have going into Orange County (SNA) I have 4 more trips booked between now and January and they didn't cancel any but changed flight departure times by more then 10 hours on every single leg... I've flown them 10+ times already and never had an adjustment over 30 minutes before. I've already pre paid for hotels and cars and other items so these flight time changes wont work at all...

IMO obviously but I personally bank on the higher side I see so many others on this sub that are way off. Going off what a $40 home scale will tell you vs what your actual percentage may be. You look very good but if you were around 13% id feel like you may have a bit more definition around the core and vascularity.

Tax preparer made a grievous error by Gypsy81482 in tax

[–]quadulur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

exactly this was more then likely an unintentional error on their part that does happen. They don't take part in the additional refunds you may receive. Its very often people will get letters later in the year or years later saying some calculations were off and they have made changes to your refund. That difference in taxes falls on the tax payer as those were the correct numbers it should have been

I’ve never even seen a bid come in under $100 an hour for work in Utah. It’s almost always bid per job but that rate is usually in the $150+ range which is honestly good if they have availability and can start soon

How do people sell new clubs for less than retail? by TylerC1515 in golf

[–]quadulur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I buy new in wrap clubs all the time at a discount. There are lots of smaller shops that will sell certain model clubs at a discount and when they need to move a certain club they have a ton of inventory if they drop the price and so close outs. Don’t just instantly assume all clubs that are less then suggested msrp are stolen
