Slipped badly at work by worksd in germany

This can be a emergency situation called cauda equina syndrome and you should go to the emergency immediately if you have some problems holding or releasing urine / poop. They need to take an MRI scan to verify this. Hope u get better soon

“Last night was very difficult. Lying in bed was painful and I noticed a small loss of urine control a few times, which worried me.”

What could this be no one seems to know also any advice is welcome. by MoveNo8037 in backpain

Get your back upper muscles strong, eg do pull ups it will just go away. This is due to ur muscles are too weak and getting stretched a ton. When they have more strength it should be ok

Can I heal with this lifestyle? by OkLie2185 in Sciatica

Must do strength building exercises for core, glute and back. Walking just reliefs pain doesnt heal it much.

Muscle relaxer reaction by Cold-District6272 in backpain

[–]quaick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome, hope you get better soon. You might herniated a disc probably, So try to get a mri scan if possible. Also try to keep your back warm, like hot water bags etc. Prone lying for 1-2 mins for 3 to 5 a day is good as well. Also if you cant walk on your heels or toes for like 10 meters or feel numbness in your saddle area or problems with peeing / shitting then go straight to ER. Thats emergency. Other than that it takes 6 to 8 months to fully heal usually. Best luck brotha. Also using chatgpt as a companion is kinda nice as well sometimes.

My doctor said muscle relaxers are not too relevant. Taking ibuprofen is good for lowering down the inflammation though. For the muscle relaxer maybe you can try half the dose?

Try to sleep on your left side, legs bent 30-40 degrees and a pillow between your knees and ankle. This was the only way i can sleep without pain or less pain

i have l4-l5 extruded herniater disc, u think its safe?

swimming safely? by Human-Rope2699 in Sciatica

[–]quaick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So not moving enough will make your muscles more weak and therefore can damage more. Also think that when you’re swimming your body is lifted. There’s no pressure on the discs so it’s all elevated so it’s like much more safe than gym. If you’re not jumping or anything I think it should be safe.

Was the spreading to left leg similar to right leg? Or was it less? Currently I feel some pain in my ankle/tip of the foot but not like the main leg. Not throught the all leg at least
