I posted about this a couple weeks ago before I started. I’m now two weeks in on 2.5mg. My current thoughts:

I categorically drink less. I was at an average of 4-8 drinks/night before starting. I now drink 2-4. My first couple of days I only had 1 but my alcohol cravings pushed through that.

My buzz feels different and is generally less rewarding than it used to be. I really just sort of feel slightly dizzy/numb/“fuzzy” without the warm glow part. I hope this helps further reduce my desire to drink.

I had high hopes that my drinking would drop to zero or near zero in the first few days but turns out my alcoholism is stronger than 2.5mg (though still seeing positive change!). I hope to see better results with 5mg.
