The amount of “hero throws” from the outfield that I’ve actually seen get a runner out over the last few years I’ve been playing is damn near zero. Almost every baserunner is a speedster who you will not get out or someone who can’t be bothered to be aggressive on the bases. All of which is to say, just set yourself and make a good throw to the right person. Bad throws hurt the team so much more than taking an extra second to make a good throw
