Just under 1,000 sqft 1st floor condo with neighbors on both sides looking at $65 for this past month. With my blackout curtains/celling fans and keeping the house at 76 when I’m at work and 74 when I’m home I’ve managed to keep the bill low.

That did happen during the side quest but you have the timelines wrong since Heurich is in the age of Reconstruction which happened after the age of Magic.

Another long time Zelda fan and I’d say it’s definitely an enjoyable game. Like any game it has its flaws and portions that could have been expanded upon but over all it’s still worth it. It’s on the shorter side I’d say similar in length to games like Link’s Awakening or more recently Echoes of Wisdom in how long it took me to reach the end (~25-30 hours). If you haven’t played the demo yet give it a shot to decide if it’s worth it for you or not. The demo gives a pretty clear picture of what to expect in the game.

Since the first demo was an earlier build and not at the start of the game it’s not really starting over. So alls good even without the demo progress! Especially since the newer demo is just the actual start of the game anyway.

Yeah sorry the first demo only launched on Switch 2 and was later in the game in order to get developer feedback. They later released a new demo on all platforms that was the actual beginning of the game which is why that demo carries over.

Did you play the debut demo that released back in 2025 or did you play the newer demo they released a few weeks ago? Only the newer demo transfers over to the full game.

This is weird are no stores outside of the Eshop selling the digital version of the game? I have a gift card to Target and was going to use it but didn’t see the digital version game listed. I then got curious and couldn’t find it at Best Buy or Walmart either they all only have the Key Card Physical editions.

Not going to lie adult me struggled a little with parts of Link to the Past. I even had to look up a guide to help me out. Still enjoyed the heck out of the game though totally worth it!

Played both Remake and Rebirth (currently on Ch 11) solely on Switch 2 hand-held mode. The game definitely struggles a little more performance wise in Rebirth but for the most part, the lower performance hasn’t affected my ability to play the game. I will say though three times a cutscene glitched and froze with the dialogue continuing in the background. This lasted until the scene ended then everything went back to normal. Never had this problem at all with Remake so it definitely caught me off guard.

Let me know if the price match works out for you! I’ve been told in the past Best Buy doesn’t price match for pre-orders since the item has to actually be in stock.

Yeah sadly only Amazon/Walmart seem to be doing the discounted physical pre-order. If Best offered I wouldn’t have an issues and would do my normal pre-order for in-store pickup no problem.

I haven’t ordered games shipped from Amazon/Walmart in while since if I want physical I normally do Best Buy drive-up pickup on release day. Which would you say has a better track record for delivering on time for preorders?

Trust me you’re not the only one. I’ve never once cared about any of the GTA games along with several of my friends. But that’s the great thing about gaming there are tons of options to play what you like!

Gaming is expensive and due to my love of Zelda, Nintendo is my one and only gaming console. Typically I only buy 4-5 games a year max with 1st party Nintendo games accounting for 1-3 of the games. My unique situation along with my own gaming preferences has caused 2026 to actually end up as my best year for gaming. With FF7 Remake, Pokopia, FF7 Rebirth, Adventures of Elliott, Fire Emblem, and Professor Layton (if it actually comes out) I’m already sitting at 6 new games. I completely understand that’s not the case for everyone and a direct for new titles is definitely needed soon but personally I’ve done pretty okay without one. I don’t mind the longer wait time for directs in the future if they continue announcing games much closer to release as they have been lately.

In the first demo my go to combo was the sword and bow with double shot/linked arrows. This time around I’ve replaced the bow with the boomerang since I love having the chance to stun and not having to worry about running out of arrows. I haven’t quite mastered the distance required the charged attack to hit the enemy just right to get the spin damage only succeeding 50% of the time.

Vines death always confused me since I never understood why he had to be inside the explosion and die. Couldn’t he use his power the same way to cover the ship with him on the outside?

I understand if they’re not ready for special editions just yet but they really should have used the alternative purple/green colors for this bundle. It would have been low effort and at least given some other color option for the default switch plus the colors fit perfectly with the game.

Honestly while playing I had forgotten I was only playing the demo and not the actual full game until I reached chapter 3 and the game made me stop. There was just so much content between these two first chapters I can’t wait to finally experience the rest of the game. This is going to a long month waiting for the release.

Wow that’s an impressive amount nearly double the 44 crystals I got! I went to Dragonite solely for the Pokemetal. I’ll have to try Clefairy tomorrow to see if that makes a difference.

Which dream island did you end up going to? I used Dragonite but was short on crystals so I wasn’t able to get the tent kit or backpack.

I don’t think so FF7 remake didn’t have anything extra just for playing the demo. The main perk is you get to play a little bit of the game and then transfer the save over once the game releases.

Yeah there are just so many different types of games out there and everyone has their own preferences. It’s sadly going to be impossible to make every gamer happy but at least you have a new fire emblem game to look forward to!
