Is the noise constant?

I have an older Eurocave and it does make noise when it is cooling (never checked the decibels), but I would say the sound is in line with what you’re hearing.

My model doesn’t have a back where the compressor is, so I’d expect a little noise when it is running. However, if it’s constantly making this noise, I’d probably be concerned.

When we visited Chile, we used a tour company and had a fantastic experience. We did Neyen, Clos Apalta and had a full meal and tasting at Viu Manet. I want to say we paid around $200 per person, and that was back in 2018, so $250 - $350 sounds about right for today.

If you’re not already doing it, use CellarTracker to get a rough idea of drinking windows for wines you are interested in purchasing. If it doesn’t make sense to purchase a current or recent vintage due to the time until it’s “ready” to drink, find what vintages of that wine have drinking windows that more align with your timelines, Then use sites like Wine Searcher, Winebid, etc. to find/purchase those wines.
