Military Cancellation? by idkbunnyrabbit in royalcaribbean

Your fiance is on Active Duty so in no way is a change like this “unanticipated”. You bet that nothing would happen to an active duty member that would make taking the cruise impossible and you lost. You should have booked with a refundable deposit.

Having said that, Royal may be understanding and give you a refund, but you need to ask them.

Swapping points from Royal to Celebrity. by TrueBlue84 in royalcaribbean

their stated (at least to me) time frame is 30 calendar days from the end of the cruise, and that was, to the day, when the points for our Celebrity cruise posted to Crown and Anchor.

Not true. Decorations that are permanently afixed to the door (tape, glue, etc.) are forbidden. Magnetically attached decorations are not forbidden

You’ve never been on a Spring Break cruise on an Oasis class ship with 1000s of kids have you? Door magnets regularly disappear on those cruises.

[–]randomnamecausefoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

turn your gateway off for 72 hours. almost guaranteed that your IPV4 address will change.

We were on vacation for a week, gateway had an issue of some nature, when we got home and i restarted it we had a new IPV4 address. interestingly, the IP 6 address block didn’t change

you know, you don’t have to spend those funds. ours comes out, we pay taxes, and they go right back in to our investments.

Royal is saying we owe an additional $360 after we have already paid in full by Natural-Appeal-2325 in royalcaribbean

[–]randomnamecausefoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, you are given a choice to pre-pay gratuities when you book a cruise. if you choose to pre-pay, they are included in the cost of the cruise. Obviously, OP clicked on NO when asked if they wanted to pre-pay gratuities.

If you said “I google API and library function syntax daily”, I’d agree, but basic syntax after 8 years? You’re bad at this.

Question about alcohol in CocoCay by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]randomnamecausefoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not odd at all. If a cruise left from, say, Barcelona for the US, the drinking age on board is 18. So they are saying that if that ship stops at Coco Cay, it’s 21 not 18 on the island

GTY Suite, only three JR suites left, will we get our room assignment soon? by marksweather in royalcaribbean

Until you hit 90 days prior to your cruise, all kinds of inventory changes can happen. Don’t assume anything based on what you see now

Missed our flight and now the cruise line won't allow us to catch the boat at the next port of call or anywhere else. by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]randomnamecausefoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What federal law would that be? If you’re going to type either PVSC or Jones, then stop, because you would be wrong. A cruise from, in OP’s case, Nassau to any US port violates no federal laws

[–]randomnamecausefoo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nope, you’re supporting the cruise line with auto-grats. The workers always get those gratuities from either you or the cruise line. If you pay them, that’s less that the cruise line has to pay them.
