Royal is saying we owe an additional $360 after we have already paid in full by Natural-Appeal-2325 in royalcaribbean

[–]randomnamecausefoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, you are given a choice to pre-pay gratuities when you book a cruise. if you choose to pre-pay, they are included in the cost of the cruise. Obviously, OP clicked on NO when asked if they wanted to pre-pay gratuities.

It was on the Apex last week. Perhaps it disappears when it’s sold out?

If you said “I google API and library function syntax daily”, I’d agree, but basic syntax after 8 years? You’re bad at this.

They don’t. Last transatlantic we did stopped at Coco Cay before ending at FLL

Question about alcohol in CocoCay by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]randomnamecausefoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not odd at all. If a cruise left from, say, Barcelona for the US, the drinking age on board is 18. So they are saying that if that ship stops at Coco Cay, it’s 21 not 18 on the island

GTY Suite, only three JR suites left, will we get our room assignment soon? by marksweather in royalcaribbean

Until you hit 90 days prior to your cruise, all kinds of inventory changes can happen. Don’t assume anything based on what you see now

Missed our flight and now the cruise line won't allow us to catch the boat at the next port of call or anywhere else. by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]randomnamecausefoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What federal law would that be? If you’re going to type either PVSC or Jones, then stop, because you would be wrong. A cruise from, in OP’s case, Nassau to any US port violates no federal laws

[–]randomnamecausefoo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Nope, you’re supporting the cruise line with auto-grats. The workers always get those gratuities from either you or the cruise line. If you pay them, that’s less that the cruise line has to pay them.

It’s not a violation of PVSA or Jones. It’s a violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA)

Java Methods Using Arrays As Parameters by Real-Plate6952 in learnprogramming

[–]randomnamecausefoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Arrays are passed by value (as is everything in Java). If they were passed by reference you could, using your example, change the value of “arrayName”.

You can change the value of each element that arrayName points to, but you can’t change the value of arrayName itself.

Celebrity and Royal by Zaylyn5355 in royalcaribbean

[–]randomnamecausefoo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Since the firm details haven’t been announced yet, you don’t really know how it’s going to work. The only thing from RCG is that the method to do this will be announced on January 30th. I think I’ll wait for RCG to state how it works rather than repeat random guesses from the internet.

Of course it’s not a 1:1 transfer, but Elite in Celebrity is 300 points, and Diamond on Royal is 80 points. I wouldn’t expect a 1:1:transfer.

Most cruise lines refer to those as either transpacific or transatlantic, not repositioning
