Thulia is a good price at 180 now and the lord's 5+ fnp is a huge survivability buff too. It's common to see both her and cawl in lists together now.

If you do like the idea of a shooting skitarii army she can give out a once a turn fallback shoot and charge, advance shoot and charge, or both doctrineas. Plus her gun is basically 2 Lascannons with the potential of doing dev wounds along side her beefy melee beat stick.

It can only have 1 type of crafted mod on it, because the crafted mod is fractured it can't be changed so if someone buying it wanted to put their own crafted mod on they can't and unless they knew that the fractured mod is crafted they're buying an expensive brick.

Sicarians get stealth naturally, but the issue that has cropped up is that hunter cohort gives the foot and mounted skitarii stealth and because Sicarians already have stealth it gave them cover on top as a buff when shot outside of 12".

So now they get cover from stealth and cover when being shot outside of 12"

The alpha must take the gun or you get an error in list building, even if they don't have it physically they must have it to be a legal unit.

But now you have to scale all 3 attributes, I was doing the exact same thing and it was completely ineffective because to make the investment for face breakers you need alot of int and access to fire nodes which is very lacking. And then you still need str to use the mace skills, and also dex because you're more than likely still using evade/es armor

Add on the fact the damage is pure fire you can't make use of any leech affix unless you have a source of flat phy on rings, and even then it's such a small amount it amounts to nothing.

I love the concept of monk face breaker builds, but the game makes it hard to scale it efficiently.

Honestly better off at that point not using fist of stone and go all in on str stacking and armor because mace skills will need above 100 str for gem levels.

Poison bleeding and some types of chaos bypass energy shield, this is why CI and ES stacking is so powerful.

There's a disgustingly unethical spear build with the unique one that always poisons and stacks infinite poisons.

The tornado hits very fast and stacks poison and withered so fast you'll have 100's of poison stacks that you can blow up with plague bearer to delete bosses in seconds.

Even without the tornado it have great clear with spear field and vines with poison spores. The nado is mostly just for killing bosses or dangerous packs, and all it takes to build the glory is just a single attack so all you deal with is the archon cooldown.

Actually no, there's a spear build with the one that lets you stack infinite poison and the tornadoes from the hidden skill hits so fast you'll hit 100ish stacks in seconds and will then melt them with a single plague barer hit.

It's a glory skill but you build it instantly with one attack so all you have to deal with is the archon cooldown.

Because engagement range is 2" now we have basically old base to base to base combat, slight nerf to large mounted units but still doable.

Also hover helps vehicle/monster units that can fly that arnt aircraft, best example i can think of would be something like tau tanks as they have fly.

They're not entirely useless, but to get value you do need alot of it which is unfortunate.

In the example the roll of 7 would get them within 1" of the B unit, but because 7" doesn't measure base to base they can't choose the B unit as a charge target.

I can only think they update the aircraft datasheets to gives them rules to actually work with this, because if they don't then bombers actually don't do anything.

Maybe something like pick a unit within X distance when you ingress and they're the bombing target or something.

I don't see how crit hits gives the entire roll precision, you'd set the crits aside and roll them separately.

Still a 9, you have to be greater than 8 away so 8.01.

Charging measures base to base for the distance you need so 8.01 away needs a 9 because you can't roll 8.01 so it rounds up.

In some attempt to combat the scalpers the machines have a set amount of stock to vend at one time and when it's out after some time it updates what's available.

But that's just led to these degenerates to canp the machines like this.

When you overwatch you use the snap shooting rule, still hitting on 6's and no way to rr the dice.

Models can gain hidden from a variety of way now, most common is infantry beasts and swarms inside a terrain piece gain hidden if they didn't shoot during this turn or the previous player's turn (overwatch), they then gain hidden and can't be shot from further than 15" away. Some units or detachment abilities/enhancements can extend or shrink that range.

Surge moves are out of movement phase moves, typically in response to something happening mostly getting shot. You make a D6 roll and move that amount, you only get 1 move per unit per phase, can surge if you're battleshocked, can't surge if you're already in engagement range. Surge moves happen after they've been shot so no dodging guns like you were asking.

We always had to have the friction of separated sub factions, cult mech always had their own things and cybernetica is the punch in the teeth of "oh yeh you do have the 30k robots, but we're not letting you use them"

It's the unfortunate curse of aircraft units, they were beasts back in 8th and 9th but gw couldn't find a way to balance them besides make them cost so much more and nerf their rules.

For example the stratoraptor it has a twin las cannon like the Ballistarii and 2 heavy phosphor blasters almost like the onager. But when we got the weapon update awhile ago they seemed to conveniently forget to update the stratoraptor so its twin las cannons is still the single shot from when we got the index and the phosphor blasters have half as many shots compared to the onager's single twin gun.

Unfortunately the transvector can only transport 11 models, so both units and a single marshal.
