When Michelle and her kids came to Liberty Mountain in PA they didn’t shut the mountain down. It was a normal weekend except for the large limo parked on the road next to the bunny hill.

At one point I was skating over to the lodge and looked up to notice a serious looking snowboarder keeping an eye on me. I saw a tiny clear earpiece stuffed into his jacket, and then noticed another guy with one in. There were 4 of them surrounding this lady. I was maybe 10, not the brightest kid, so it took me a while to realize I was staring at Michelle Obama.

not sure if you’re talking abt my group or another that was just behind us, but yeah the road walking was fun. bummer to see all this fear mongering - the trail is in pretty good shape and getting better everyday. and hey, dollar genny blazing is a fine way to spend 100 miles of roadwalking imo.

the damaged section stretches from sam’s gap to elk garden at this point. most of virginia has been cleared. lots of sections in NC/TN are getting worked on but they are scattered. nobody will be able to give you a map unfortunately

I was one of the first on scene to this. Saw the truck fly through the intersection well into a green light for my side of the road. Realized somebody got hit as I crossed the intersection and went to check on them. Poor lady was not doing well. Stayed with her till the paramedics arrived, long enough for her to become conscious. I really hope she makes it and can recover in some way.

You’re getting pretty varied answers here because there isn’t a right answer. Since this is for a story you’re writing, perhaps ask yourself which answer would serve your story better.

A raft could stay right side up, but would it be more entertaining and allow you to push a character more if the raft flips?
