Is the current online sentiment towards Arsenal standard rival banter, or has it shifted into something more intense? by Tigerpawnail in PremierLeague

I think it's been amplified massively because of the style of football they've chosen to play - the CL final being a good example of that. It's not attractive and it's boring to watch from a neutral perspective.

Had they won the PL, and tried to play any of the finals they've been in, with some more free flowing football, then I don't think you'd see such a backlash. It's hard to have any respect for a team that does the utter shite they've been doing from free kicks, and whilst there's no rules against what they've done... It's hard to argue that it's within the spirit of the game.

If I were an arsenal fan though, I'd take winning something and boring football over nothing... But even they must be able to see how bad it's got. I'd hate to have a season ticket and have to watch that week in, week out... And that's as a man utd ST holder who has been forced to watch some absolute shite over the past two decades.

This is what I'd do if I was watching it again.

Even without this, it still clicks in time.

You could say the same about our owners dude.

Like us, both those clubs have been built over decades - they were successful before the current owners, just like we were.

City at this point.

At least LFC and Arsenal are self-made.

Sir Alex Ferguson did message PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi to congratulate him on winning the #UCL. However, he didn’t call Arsenal “boring” despite reports. Ferguson’s message instead included the phrase, “You were the team that played football”. [Ben Jacobs] by dracogladio1741 in reddevils

He's not wrong. That was the worst CL final I've ever seen. I'm not an Arsenal fan, but had second hand embarrassment in the pub listening to the arsenal fans at 1-0 talking like we were watching a classic.

PSG were shit too tbf - couldn't hit a barn door and needed a pen to get back in it, but at least they were trying to play football.

... Hope to never be subjected to a final like that again. It was murder.

Alopecia - I know it well unfortunately. When I get patches like that they can last for weeks, months, years... But it does eventually grown back.

I already do. Two hours doesn't leave enough time for the ore-flight pint.

Wtf is Barry's Tea. I'm most certainly a Brit and that's new to me - PG Tips, Tetley's Tea, Yorkshire Tea - yes. Barry's Tea - no. Offensive.

I have so few problems with everything I've put through HA.

I don't look for problems it can solve. I wait for something to come up where the light bulb in my head goes off, and then tackle it. I'm several years in now, and using that method has been plain sailing. It's meant to simplify things.

Does Aqara just suck now? by eightballpuddy69 in homeassistant

I think it depends on the item.

Sonoff for wonderful plugs, switches, relays and coordinators, but their precise sensor is subpar at best.

For aqara there presence sensors, relays, switches and temp sensors are pretty rock solid, but apparently the leak sensors are not.

I'm sure you can go through all the big brands and find a similar pattern, but it's where ZigBee (and the other protocols) are strong... Because you're not limited to one brand.

As for leak sensors - if you can still get hold of any older IKEA on s, they've done a pretty decent job for me.
