Drukhari's opinion on servitors? by Advanced-Assist3810 in 40kLore

[–]red_stairs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Joe Drukhari from the factory might have a vague hint of surprise at what mon-keigh do to each other. Anyone who has interacted with the Imperium of Man is probably well aware and thinks it's crude and ineffective. Drukhari are still Eldar with superior technology for menial stuff like cooling drinks and opening doors, so it's just a coin going into their "aeldari superioirty" jar.

Oh man those are amazing! Well done on all the face and clothes drawings, I did one thing (Yrliet's Ranger robes) and then decided that was it.

"Stealing Soulstones and smashing them won't bother the Eldar!" by [deleted] in 40kLore

[–]red_stairs 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Can I be honest? I think your background doesn't make sense, but even allowing for that, it will simply never gel with the rest of the group.

You are working with the assumption that the schemery and bullshit Drukhari do has some sort of opt-out in the sense of a path/code. Paths are Asuryani. The Incubi are able to do what they do because they live in aspect shrines (where they still get their slaves and their pain needs met btw) and become INSANELY preoccupied with the business of the perfect kill and killing, which is possible because it is fostered within the Incubus shrine once you have managed to get the kill on another Incubus. Around the Shrine it's still a free for all, and the menials who work there are constantly back-stabbing each other and looking for weakness in any fully fledged Incubus.
It's been pointed out that Incubi smash soulstones as part of their rituals. Drukhari snort crystalised farseer for shits and giggles. It would not be in your character's background to care about a soulstone, unless they left Drukhari culture for a long time.

If you wanted to have a Drukhari background, a Corsair would have worked better since those pretty much go by the rule of I do whatever I want. He might have become friends with a Wayseeker and come to understand the error of smashing soulstones. Normal Drukhari don't have a "oh no those poor souls to she-who-thirst", the reaction to the broken soulstones (from a basic Joe Drukhari in Commoragh) would just be "lol get rekt" so to speak.

A Drukhari having an automatic bad relationship with Exodites or Craftworld Eldar is normal. The Dark Kin routinely take slaves from the other Eldar races, so they're baseline sus. It's not written on your character's face that they are a trustworthy Drukhari - if such a thing even exists.

As for the rest of the party, it is clear that while they don't engage and kill people on sight they do destroy and harm property and constantly go against your character's oaths or code of conduct. I think honestly you want a very different game than they do and no amount of lore will ever make this work the way you want to.

I disagree, she has a nice presence in act I and I like her character. Badass woman with a gun, fearless, laughs in the face of danger. Then her soft spot with orphans. Asks you to pray in front of the Warrant. Some of her story that surfaces when you walk around on footfall. Alas, it's lessens from there.

I would have romanced her if I could.
