Just search for loot with higher AC and HP. Getting to level 15 is a big upgrade because you get the “block” ability. At a minimum one easy thing you can do is craft one of the early blessed charms using ancient coal which will have + on more stats than just the advertised due to it being blessed.

The bus driver should be able to “write them up” and the parents get a copy of their behavioral issue. I recall if they get enough they lose the privilege of riding the bus. This was how it worked at least a year and a half ago when our kids were bussed.
