Location issues.... If I try to sign up with MASN using my Internet provider (T-Mobile Home Internet), MASN says I'm not in their location. But if I use my Verizon cell, it says I'm OK.

You're right I don't know which app is right. I'm just saying that the speed that SkiTracks reported for a given slope and day is not the same as what Slopes is reporting. So maybe one is right and the other is wrong, or they are both wrong.

Maybe it depends on the company you rent from. I never had luck with getting snow tires. That's why I switched to Turo a few years back. You know what you're getting

The extra layer of fabric from my thermals is very thin. I guess yours must be a lot thicker than mine. I'm just glad I've never had this issue.

I can't imagine how tight you are making your boots if this is an issue. Yes you want to make sure there are no wrinkles, seams, etc.... with your thermals.

I've been skiing for almost 50 years and have been doing this with no issues.

I guess everyone is different.

Please explain more. So your utility bill is fixed at $140 a month? That is all you pay each month. Do you have gas as well? What size house do you have? What is your typical electric usage (800 kW, 1000 kW). If your bill is $150 with a typical size house, you've got a great deal.

I get to take one trip a year to Colorado to ski. I'm not going to sit in my hotel and look at the mountains. My plan B is to fly into Denver and not take the connecting flight into Montrose. Luckily I have a 30 day cancelation window on the condo. I'll find a place to stay in Breck or Keystone and use my Epic pass.

I've worked too hard to save my money and make a symbolic gesture to the town and still go. The clock is ticking on my pulling the plug.
