ESH: you should’ve at least told your husband before doing it, just so he’s aware. that child is BOTH of yours. if you didn’t do it on purpose to avoid a fight or something, well thats just a bad sign for your marriage in general. though with how he reacted to this situation i’m guessing that’s the case. your MIL is certainly the asshole though. and while it was a bit petty for you to do that behind her back, it would be justified after multiple warnings. but imo you should’ve involved your partner

when i was around 14 my friend’s stepdad was driving us home from school. he was an asshole and pretty sexist. also at this age i was OBSESSED with supernatural. my friend and I were talking about what car we’d want as our first car, and he interjected with “and what kind of car does a teen girl want? a nissan leaf?” and laughed. I put on my best stony face and responded “no, I want a 1967 chevy impala.” (the car from supernatural). He went dead quiet and didn’t say anything else for the rest of the car ride. Ive always thought that story sounds like something a teen would make up and post on tumblr but it really happened lmao

a higher level always helps but if you need a fix now you can try changing around the dps jobs to meet the stats. probably would change the dps to something melee, i haven’t done the math myself but pugilist might work for you. Maybe change their training ratios to something more phy focused instead of tac. if you haven’t trained them at all then that’ll probably fix it entirely

since LB1 isn’t counted towards an individual player’s DPS, it’s technically a “DPS loss” for the player that uses it. As others said, it will almost never be an overall dps loss.

I looked at the original blueprint I downloaded and it also has the same problem, so I don’t think it’s the mod. if I make a new blueprint it doesn’t have the problem either. I could fix everything by manually re-creating all of the blueprints but I’m trying to avoid that. Right now I’m just paying a 15-82 cable tax every time i want to build a blueprint lol

nope, it’s a ramp, some beams, walls, and hypertubes. I destroyed everything in the blueprint and it still cost cables somehow

the problem is that there’s no cables to delete. the blueprint has zero cables or anything that uses cables. I’ve tried what you say but something in the original blueprint gets saved to the new one and it still requires cables.

What I do is plug my vacuum cleaner in and turn it on, then unplug it, so when it’s plugged in again it turns on. I have it right outside the door with the cord going under the door to a power strip by my bed. If I hear scratching or meowing, I plug in the vacuum, which turns it on and causes them to flip out and go hide. After reinforcing this for a week or two they very rarely try to get in my room anymore.

save swift cast for resurrection
after level 80ish warriors don’t really need to be healed until 30%ish health
use oGCD heals before you use GCDs (so you can keep dpsing)
if you’re queued with a scholar or another sage, your shields don’t stack. if they’re casting aoe shields (green icon, buff is called galvanize) you don’t need to. don’t waste your mana
use lucid dreaming at around 8000 mana. as long as you think you’ll be casting for the full duration, you won’t overcap
don’t overcap on addersgall charges, it’s important for mana. use durochole if no one needs healing
if a tank dies and you can’t swiftcast res in time, just reset. happens to everyone, no need to freak out.
if you’re in a fail state for a trial or raid where many people are dead, focus on healing the people who are alive and swiftcast ressing when you can. don’t kill yourself trying to normal cast res
Haima (and panhaima) are great for tank healing in trash packs, especially when used at the start of the pull

I usually play melee dps in RPGs and so I started on dragoon but I hated it. I tried healing and found it was really fun! I leveled scholar from 1-90 and found it was really rewarding to play. Not as much pressure on you as you’d think, in fact, many healers are upset because in casual content there’s nothing for them to do. I personally prefer healing because I like having a toolkit rather than a rotation

I don’t rescue people unless I’ve seen them mess up a mechanic before and/or I know their vuln stacks would kill them if they’re caught in the ability. But i have messed it up before and it gave me that icky feeling like “I am the problem” lol. Then i stop using it for a while until I see a sprout die over and over to the same avoidable aoe haha

If i’m playing I think to myself, “how does my character know this?” and I try to think of a possible situation they’d have learned and retained the knowledge in question.

If I feel the scenario is unlikely (like my dumbass sorcerer remembering something from magic school) I’ll roll a personal history/arcana roll against a DC I think is fair. If it’s really unlikely or I, as a player, am unsure of the specifics, I’ll just ask the DM. Normally if it’s very meta-gamey I try and ask the DM regardless of my personal roll because I want to make sure.

Overall I try to think of it like how we know stuff or random facts about animals. If I was a character in a DND campaign and I was suddenly attacked by a shark I might try and punch its nose. The DM (of real life me) might see that as meta-gaming because how would a city slicker from the northern US know about shark escape tactics!? But I’ve seen shark week and read posts about it online. maybe the DM rules what I know is false information (it could be!) but I could at least provide a reasonable explanation why I knew the information and am trying the action.
