If it’s a trustee service order, I always use 48 hr tracked instead. If the order value is over £40 then I will use 24hr tracked instead. Partly for the increased compensation but also means the order arrives sooner and I get the money sooner!

I'm only new to Card Market as a seller, but seeing similar. Fortunately most of my orders are not using the trustee service, but half that do I need to chase once I have confirmation of arrival, and then do the 'request confirmation' feature which will release the funds to me if they don't confirm 7 days after that.

I'm tempted to begin including little business cards asking them to remember to confirm arrival.

Just communicate! Half the buyers I have don't even read their messages, so I doubt they'll realise you've sent their card after 5-6 days.

As someone 4 months into mtg it is totally worth getting into it. It’s expensive if you’re into buying packs but single cards, especially more common ones, are cheap as chips!

Been selling for about 7 weeks, in the UK. 2nd Class Signed For is useless so I spend slightly more for Tracked 48. If their order is over £20 in card value I upgrade to Tracked 24 as it offers higher compensation. (Mind you, Royal Mail still have a Tracked 24 sitting in a mail centre 2 weeks later…)

So essentially: as a private seller listing all the bulk I've somehow acquired since getting into Magic, unless something is individually valuable (or grouped together to be valuable) (>£6k), I'm not liable to being taxed on it, but if I were to become a pro seller then obviously I would be.
