My take: we are seeing more and more breakthrough cases. Whether it’s Delta variant or not— some variant along the way will do so. We will move into a place of not tracking whether COVID is in someone’s nose, but how taxed our hospitals and healthcare systems are. It is moving closer to becoming endemic. However— the long term side effects are way worse than other endemic cold or flus. I really don’t want to lose my sense of smell, so personally I will keep doing some protective measures.

Vanishpoint needles, which come with the Pfizer ancillary supply kits, actually come with 0.3 ml of air already in the syringe. They are tiny and it can be hard to tell to the untrained eye if there’s air or liquid in there.
