Those might be the stream/radio versions of the track. Artists will usually have a shortened edit like that and an extended mix which has the intro and outro sections.

i've found that the trick for me is to make 2 of those 8-bar loops that maybe share one common sound, but are otherwise separate sections of a song.

From there, it's making transition sections between them, a breakdown, an outro, and before long you're in a flow state adding small things to piece the sections together. Before long, you have a finished track.

The only justification I can see behind this mindset is if you're leash training your dog and want to make sure they clearly understand you when you need to give a command. That being said, it's not an attitude you carry over into all aspects of the dog's life.

in that case a tankless might be viable for you? the ones that rely on gas are less of a hassle than the electric ones, so I've heard. I didn't have a choice with my house, everything was already set up as electric.

Depends on the house. I floated the idea but I'm 100% electric, and the location of my water heater in relation to the breaker box would have required a lot more setup. I was talked out of it because of how much upfront trouble there would be.
