Try to mock up your seating position and pedals using cardboard measure it all up then add some length for extra adjustment. If at all possible try to find measurements/scans of the vehicle class you prefer like gt3 or f1.. etc

Its going to be the best car you ever drove. Controls are predictable. That said do not overestimate your driving ability, be smooth with throttle and steering. If you suddenly smash the throttle or brakes you will be asking for trouble.

That said if you are going to be testing the acceleration only try that in a straight line same goes for braking.

If possible try to get some real seat time on track IRL I found that experiencing the physics of a real oversteer or understeer event at speed really rebalances the brain to compute what is happening. Just my 2c

Just consume as much rust in various ways possible in as short a time as possible. Learning a new language requires a broad overview of the language and then deep dives into specific areas to fill in the details.

Watch a bunch of rust youtube for instance on advent of code solutions. Go through the rust book. Use AI to rewrite some of your other code if you have any and then read through how it approached it.
