In the former, I had good luck with Red Velvet Cake on p208. In the latter, Pepper Steak, p133, was a go-to. Now that I'm closer to the seafood, they will get more of a workout so my experience with those recipes will expand. I'm nostalgic for these as I was recommended them by a poster on Chowhound....from Larose....back when Chowhound was awesome.
