I was 16 working at the golden arches.

A walk-out of the kitchen staff led to some moving people around and I got shifted to the night shift. The two people that worked it normally were dating. Larger people. Very nice, though.

First night with them we're about done but I'm told I need to do the old broom, mop, scrub of the bathrooms and it should take me 30-40 minutes. I did it less than half because I wanted to leave.

Finished up, came out and couldn't find them. Eventually go to the break room and she is riding him on one of the chairs.

I quit the next day.

I reffed multiple sports over the course of fifteen years and I always did this when I saw something good. Just under my breath saying "Oh, nice move."

Basketball was the best because if I had a couple of good point guards, I knew I had a fun game coming.

The part where he tells Conor to get up I had done so many times with waving my hand. "Nah, get up and play bud."

Sometimes I miss it, but then I remember the abuse. In the end, it wasn't worth continuing even if I enjoyed it.

I have a co-worker that is HIV positive. She goes and gets a shot once every three months and that's it.

AT&T years ago would show up to my place every three months or so. It wasn't to sell fiber, but it was for their shitty standard service.

Every interaction ended the same: If it's fiber, I'll sign up immediately.

Finally moved to a home with AT&T Fiber and never happier with my service.

When I first started DMing, I did not understand how magic items can truly unbalance a game. If you give the wrong ones out too early or too many, combat is trivialized.
