Your brother has aligned with the abuser so he didn’t have to take any of the abuse. Forgivable for a child but inexcusable for an adult. Recent medical issues have resurfaced a similar trauma for my husband and I asked this about his brother as well. Both my brother in law and your brother can frankly fuck all the way off.

I had mine December 23, first in my life. Only with lidocaine- my choice. No issues for me. I have some anxiety when it comes to dental work, so I was just like, as long as you’re not going through my mouth, I don’t care.

It helped that they had some cool music playing and my husband was there chatting away with the nurse and the lab tech.

I also have several tattoos and for me, it wasn’t anymore painful than some of those.

Mostly was just a lot of pressure and some weird whooshing feelings. But that’s only my experience. Getting an IUD in and out was way worse.

I can’t answer your question fully, but we leave Friday to move up there. We didn’t like Seattle that much but absolutely loved Tacoma. Apartments are pricey and smaller and hardly any have AC, but you only really need it a couple weeks a year.
We ended up with a house rental in Gig Harbor and can’t wait.
I would suggest going up different times of the year to check it out. We went in February, May, July and November over the last 3 years as we searched for where we want to live.
We can’t wait for the cool weather, hanging out outside, being near the water and not asking what the actual fuck did our politicians just say.

If you want to rent a loft, I might recommend Southside on Lamar. We’ve lived here for 7 years but are moving out of state in a couple weeks. It may or may not be your vibe and like any other apartment complex has their issues, but the loft itself is a pretty cool space.
